If you are a firework, just make sure and sparkle safely at home and not in a national park. Remember, possession or use of fireworks and sparklers within the boundaries of a National Park Service site is prohibited.

There are several parks that safely host firework displays for the public to enjoy, including at National Mall and Memorial Parks, or you can always look up at night sky and take in a park’s natural “fireworks.”

Today we celebrate SEVEN years in business!

In that time we’ve planned trips to 6 continents (someone needs to call us for an Antarctica trip stat!). We’ve planned honeymoons, family reunions, and more family vacations than I could ever hope to count. And we’ve always stuck to our belief that travel is for everyone, helping people with disabilities and severe food allergies travel anywhere and everywhere.

In that time we’ve grown from a small part time “side hustle” business to a full time business and a 4 woman team!

Everyday that we get to plan trips for you and make magic for you is a blessing. Thank you for supporting us and trusting us with some of the most important moments in your life.

And seriously, do any of you want to go to Antarctica? Because I know this great cruise….

On this our little team is giving back.

This year, I selected Fortress of the Bear to be my agency shoutout. So many non-profits are a part of the travel experience, but this one is really special to me. On our first day in Alaska Patrick and I booked a last minute experience to visit Alaska’s only bear rescue center. It was such a special memory for us both.

A little about Fortress of the Bear: “The state of Alaska has no bear rehabilitation program in place, and unfortunately orphaned cubs are routinely shot by the Department of Fish and Game for lack of an alternative. Until now. At Fortress of the Bear, our mission is to rescue cubs, bring them back to health and provide a long life full of enrichment.”

The center has been and part of re-homing bears all over the country, you might even get to see one at your local zoo! So this I’m spreading the word about one of my favorite travel experiences, that also happens to be a non-profit 🐾 🐻
