🕐I want to take a few minutes of your time, and share a quick story.

🧙‍♂️I recently had a potential client come to me, super excited to travel to Universal Studios Orlando 🌎to see Harry Potter. Let's face it, that's a huge reason why a lot of people go to Universal is to experience, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

📞I always request a phone call, that way I can connect with my clients, and get a good feel for what they are looking for, and what they are wanting out of their vacation. As I was talking with this person, she mentioned that her family is NOT a rollercoaster family 😳🎢. I knew at this point, it was time to stop 🛑and have a real talk with them. Yes, it could've been easy for me to just ignore what she said, and grab that sale, but that is NOT who I am. My goal is too make sure you will have a great time on your vacation, because ultimately this is your TIME⌛️ and MONEY💵. I gave her some advise and homework to do over the weekend and then I would follow up with her on Monday. Guess what❓ They are NOT rollercoaster 🎢people, and it would've been a lot of money to spend to just walk around. She thanked 🙌me for some advise, and hopefully I will have made a client for a future booking.

👉Had there been no phone📞 call, and I sent out a quick quote, I would've never known this and they would've not been happy with their vacation nor with me. It's all about making a connection with my clients and what is best for them. I do care, and I want my clients to be happy. Not only that, think about what if she would've booked on her own, she would've never known what she was stepping into.

This is one of my favorite Halloween events. Nothing better than to have the back stage lots, being turned into Haunted Houses and people chasing you through the scare zones. LOVE IT!!

Let’s talk about food while at Disney World. Yes, there is such a thing as being “Disney sick.” What is Disney sick? Going a little too far on food, that you don’t normally or would normally eat! My advise here is, don’t go nuts on sweets.

Food allergies: My family has them. I am gluten free and Matt can’t have nuts. The one place that I absolutely feel confident about eating at is Disney World. First rule, let the Cast Member know you have food allergies. Never be embarrassed about letting them know. They will bring out a Chef and they will go over your allergies. There is nothing worse than being sick on vacation because of a food allergy.

I took some pictures of things that I like to highlight. I don’t take pictures of every meal I eat, but more of things to highlight and to show, you can eat WELL at Disney World!

Disney Port Orleans-French Quarter. This resort is New Orleans themed, which I love. One of the great perks about this resort, it’s a two for one. You can take a stroll over to Riverside and check it out as well. There are riverboats that you can take between the two resorts or the Disney Springs area.

This resort houses the famous New Orleans beignets. Oh yes, and they are hot, fresh, and boozy if you so choose! They have gluten free beignets as well. I’ll be straight up honest, you don’t even know the difference, they are that good! Worth the trip to this resort.

Pool area just got a face lift. I tried to get some great photos, but it was hard as the times I went they weren’t open yet. They are redoing the kids water play area and looking good. Not far from the pool area is a little playground area for kids. So much for the whole family to enjoy. At night, you can enjoy roasting some marshmallows for FREE, or for a small price make it s’mores. Later on in the evening, they also do movies on the lawn. All of this is FREE to you and your family! Take advantage of some down time at the resort in the evenings.

Disney Port Orleans-French Quarter. I have stayed at this resort a few times, along with Riverside. This resort has a smaller feel to it with a big New Orleans theme! We stayed garden view, close to the main building, easy walk path to the busses. Bus wait was never long. There is space under the beds to store luggage, if you choose. Very clean and bright.

Matt Hill and I had a chance to do a private tour of Behind the Seeds at Living of the Land. I have always liked this ride and learning about their gardens, by doing hydroponics. They do not use soil, everything is done in sections with a water system. If you are interested in gardening and how Disney grows vegetables, great tour for you!

The picture with Matt and I is a pepper (black pepper) tree. Who knew???

🌸 Why is saffron so expensive? It takes 80,000 saffron flowers to make ONE pound of saffron 😳

☕️ Why is coffee expensive? Because it takes 80 beans 🫘 to make ONE cup of coffee. As most know, look into see if your coffee is Fare Trade.

Vanilla: Did you know that vanilla has to be hand pollinated, that’s one reason for it being expensive. If you’re buying cheap vanilla, it’s more than likely artificial and not real. The beans do have to be dried before they go to market, which can take 3-10 months for them to dry.

One of my absolute favorite entertainers at Disney World, Bob Jackson. Matt and I always make a point to come see him at Port Orleans-Riverside. This is probably why we stay here when we come. Great entertainment for the whole family.

I have not been able to get back to see Famtasmic since it reopened! I FINALLY made it back. Last time I saw this show was when the kids were little. Amazing show and definitely one of my favorites. When you are visiting Disney World, make the time to see this show. It’s a story about Mickey and his dreams… will he make it out??

I wish the picture quality was better. I pulled out a few of what I took. If I did a video it would’ve been 30 minutes long.
