My new adventure~
After spending 32. 8 years in public education, the last 19 as a Pupil Services/Special Education Director, I decided it was time to do something different. I have always loved to travel and it seemed most of my travels ended up in fun adventures. Like the time I went to southern California and it rained for 6 days straight or when I went to Minnesota in February to celebrate a dear friends new doctorate and I got caught in a snowstorm and couldn’t get home right away or my trip to Alaska with my travel cousin where for one of our excursions we were taken to in a beat up old school bus through the back woods to our destination and we could hear the theme song from Deliverance echoing in our ears to name a few. So it seemed doing something in the travel field would be a good fit. It would pair my love of traveling and adventures with my love of learning new things. I had been using Brenda Elliott of Elliott Excursions for many years as my travel agent so when the opportunity presented itself to be able to work under her I thought YES!! I have the backing of a great agency that has 25 years in the travel business! Brenda has taught me so much already in the little time I’ve been doing it. It’s great because she is never far away if I have any questions! I am looking forward to see where this new adventure will take me! Why don’t you come along for the ride!!
