This weekend I had two clients get upgrade offers. One was a Carnival Cruise offer to move from an inside stateroom to a balcony, but the price tag was pretty high. One was a Disney World offer to move from Art of Animation to Port Orleans, and this one was really cheap!

Both clients declined the offer. Have you ever gotten an upgrade offer? Did you take it?

I love going to the Candlelight Processional at Epcot. It is so beautiful to hear the singing and the story of Jesus’s birth.

Today’s takes us to Ponta Delgada, Portugal. This was one of our Disney Cruise ports back in 2018 when we went on a transatlantic cruise. My niece and I had a great time exploring the sights with a private driver. My husband had a great time staying on the ship and enjoying the movie theater on board.

It’s always magical to go to a port and then come back on to a beautiful ship and run in to Daisy Duck in her formal wear. I cannot recommend Disney cruises enough! They are amazing!

I’m going to Girl Scout Camp with my daughter this weekend. It got me thinking about my clients that might like camping. Did you know you can camp at Disney World?

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground is amazing! It’s a boat ride away from Magic Kingdom and connected to everywhere else by bus. You can tent camp, or bring a camper. Some people even rent campers to go there. You can also stay in a cabin which is what my family has done several times.

The problem with staying at Fort Wilderness is there is sooooo much to do! Sometimes it is hard to squeeze in the parks when we stay there. The pool is awesome. You can fish, rent bikes, or do crafts at the bike barn. There is a campfire sing along with Chip and Dale. “Looping” in golf cart and seeing everyone’s campsites is an attraction in itself. Some people go all out at the holidays.

Do you buy travel protection when you book a trip? It is definitely recommended. I’ve had trips affected by the following: hurricane, broken arm, double ear infection, and influenza. A trip is an investment. Invest in protection for it.

I’ve got the Monday blues. I’m so tired from the weekend, but I’m counting down to a trip I paid off over the weekend. I’m taking a super short cruise with my bestie over Christmas break. It was less than $1000. Three days of sun and fun (and naps).

Happy National Golf Lover’s Day!

Did you know Disney World has 4 golf courses, 2 mini golf courses, and even a foot golf course? My family loves to go to mini golf at Winter Summerland! It is Christmas themed. One side is Santa in the summer and the other side is winter.

Most Disney packages come with free mini golf tickets! It’s always a good idea to add a rest day to your Disney trip so you’re not wearing yourself out. Mini golf is a great activity for your rest day!

This takes us to the Dominican Republic! This was one of the stops on our Carnival Cruise this summer. My kids LOVE cruising! Some people think Carnival is just a party cruise line, but if you take a 6 night or longer cruise, they are much more tame! This summer on our stop in the Dominican Republic we took an excursion to Damajagua Falls. The climb up was rough, but the way down was awesome!
