Celebran la sexta marcha del orgullo LGBT+ en Zihuatanejo

Zihuatanejo, a 08 de julio de 2024.- Este lunes dará inicio la esperada sexta edición de la Marcha del Orgullo LGBT+ en Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, evento que promete una semana llena de actividades culturales, sociales y de integración.

Abraham Romero, uno de los organizadores, destacó la importancia de este evento para la comunidad local y para promover al puerto como destino turístico incluyente.

Las festividades comenzarán con la ceremonia de inauguración, que incluirá la tradicional pinta del paso peatonal frente a la cancha municipal, marcando así el inicio de una serie de eventos destinados a celebrar la diversidad y promover la inclusión.

Uno de los puntos álgidos de la semana será la muestra gastronómica, programada para el próximo viernes en el museo regional, donde 15 expositores locales ofrecerán lo mejor de la cocina regional, fusionando sabores con el espíritu festivo del orgullo.

El punto culminante será el sábado con el desfile y los carros alegóricos, que recorrerán las principales calles desde la plaza Kioto hasta la cancha municipal.

Esta colorida procesión no solo busca celebrar la diversidad, sino también fortalecer los lazos comunitarios y fomentar el turismo rosa, un segmento que ha demostrado un impacto económico significativo en la región.

La sexta Marcha del Orgullo LGBT+ se posiciona así como un evento emblemático que no solo celebra la diversidad, sino que también promueve el crecimiento económico y cultural del puerto.

Los organizadores invitan a residentes y visitantes a unirse a esta festividad inclusiva que se extenderá durante toda una semana, del día de hoy al próximo sábado.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Roja. WOW! The location is perfect! Very walkable to centro yet just far enough away for some peace and quiet. There are a couple very good restaurants right up the street and the neighborhood dogs (who often hang out around the place) along with their own dog, are friendly and sweet. The views of the bay from every level of this home are breathtaking and the swimming pools are a nice respite from the Zihua heat. Tim and Donna have thought of everything and have equipped the place with anything you may need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is no shortage of hot water with great pressure! The AC units in the bedrooms are on point for a nice restful night of sleep. Not only have Tim and Donna made this place a lovely sanctuary, but they themselves are wonderful people with big hearts and loving souls. Their place reflects that! We HIGHLY recommend Casa Roja. Do yourself a favor and BOOK IT!

Another lovely review from our guests Susan and Jeff Farrell...we meet the NICEST people!!!

We had a fabulous time staying at La Casa Roja. The house is beautifully decorated in traditional Mexican style and has everything you need. The location is a short walk into Centro, where you will find the malecón, many restaurants and shops. It’s very easy to grab a taxi or a bus to a number of lovely beaches. At the end of the day, the private pool was perfect to cool off. We truly enjoyed the outdoor space and the wonderful view of the bay. Donna and Tim were great hosts as well. We loved our time in Zihua!
