Today is Travel Agent Appreciation Day and I almost missed my post. ❤️

I think that technically this day is to show appreciation to the travel agents, but for me it makes me thankful in return. I would not have this pleasurable job if it wasn’t for the amazing clients that place their trust in my planning skills!

These past few months have proven to me that nothing is promised to stay the same for very long, even tomorrow everything can change in an instant. Being a travel agent to me is so much more than seeing the world and helping others do so. It’s about helping families embrace the short amount of time that is available to them to make lifelong memories that stick with them forever. It’s about going to places that make you feel young, alive, and yourself! It’s about taking time from working to do something that brings you joy, even if only for a few days. So on this Travel Advisor Appreciation Day, let me thank my family, friends, and clients that have entrusted me with these special moments that truly are more valuable than any tangible item on earth! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of these magical moments in your lives! ✨

Disney’s All Star Sports Resort opened yesterday in 1994! A great opportunity for the sports lovers in the family to enjoy all Disney as to offer.

This resort is simple and the most consistently economical on property, yet it is one of my favorite resorts. I like simple and it’s literally like traveling back in time.

*Ale & Compass Lounge serves original and classic cocktails, as well as appetizers.

*Ale & Compass Restaurant serves New England-inspired comfort food at the casual Table Service restaurant

*Crew’s Cup Lounge offers peaceful relaxation while you enjoy delicious meals like seafood platters, Prime Rib Sliders, and more.

*The Market at Ale & Compass provides counter service convenience to guests at the Yacht Club.

*Yachtsman Steakhouse has an exhibition kitchen that tantalizes taste buds while you wait for your order! Steaks and seafood are the specialties in this New England dining room complete with knotty-pine beams.

So just what are my dining options during my stay at Disney’s Beach Club Resort?

*Beach Club Marketplace is a Counter Service option where you can find quick service options as well as dry goods like cereal.

*Beaches & Cream Soda Shop is famous for its Kitchen Sink sundae that is made with 8 scoops of ice cream and every topping in the house! You can also find other I’ve cream specialties and meals that include burgers and diner favorites.

*Cape May Cafe welcomes morning guests with a character buffet breakfast! Minnie and her friends show off their beach attire while circulating the tables. For a non-character dinner, this seaside setting offers a New England style clam bake with an all-you-can-eat buffet. Try the crab legs!

*Hurricane Hanna’s Grill is located poolside offering delicious quick-service items and a full bar. Best part?? Kids’ meals are presented in sand pails as a take-home souvenir!

*Martha’s Vineyard is a quiet lounge with a welcoming feel, inspired by a New England beach house.

More casual than its sister resort, Disney’s Beach Club is reminiscent of the New England seaside. Before even entering the lobby, you’ll notice the landscaping is also reminiscent of a New England style with magnolias, Japanese elms, Bradford pear trees, crape myrtle, gardenias, and roses lining the courtyards and walkways.
The resort's lobby is a combination of white wicker, hardwood floors and high ceilings bring seacoast imagery to the forefront. And yes, true to its resort name, there is a white sand beach! 🛟
