In the picturesque village of Polyanitsa there is a unique landmark - the wooden Vvedenskaya church. The first church on this site was built back in 1912, but it burned down in a fire in 1946. The church was rebuilt only in 1990. A talented master craftsman Yury Timofey worked on the new shrine. Today Vvedensky church is a wonderful example of Hutsul architecture. Externally the church resembles the old one. Near the church are burial places of Austrian soldiers killed during World War I.
