Kiang West Nation Park
Kiang west is the foremost wildlife reserve in The Gambia. It is composed mainly of Guine savanna and woodland and is an excellent place for hiking. The escarpment running through the park provides beautiful views. Kiang West boasts over, 250 species of birds, many of which are difficult to observe anywhere else. Warthog, bush buck, Guinea baboon, Senegal bushbaby, March mongoose, roan antelope and manatee also reside in the park.
