Spital Berwick upon tweed!

Just 20mins drive South from the Bothy is a kid and dog haven called Spital! With a beautiful Sandy beach for the kids and 🐶. With a playpark, 1950/60’s style prominade with arcades, brilliant scampi and chips and of course a pupichino for Jura Dawg! You can even purchase a bucket of candy floss for that ultimate high! Thanks Grampa! 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️
Nothing like salty chips eaten outside by the beach…. even in February

If coming to visit the Bothy do try the coastal path. It can be walked all the coast or in sections
For those just fancying a wee saunter the walk from Coldingham bay to st Abbs is lovely! For those more adventurous continue up to St Abbs heads along the cliffs but make sure to keep dogs on lead close to cliffs and make sure to wear sensible walking boots. Be sure to stop by at Ebbcarrs Cafe for a delicious cake or Cullen skink!
St Abbs has its own lifeboat St Abbs Lifeboat do stop by and have a look in their wee shop the hoodies are the best! Up on the hill there is also the visitors centre. St Abbs also has a wee post office where if you have little ones in tow there are a sorts of sweet treats. In the Autum there is a pick your own pumpkin patch!
