Otro mecanismo es el uso de la cripsis sobre la vegetación durante el día, ya que su coloración le permite camuflarse

Aside from their strange horns, these birds also possess some interesting anatomy below the surface. Inside their bones and skin are tons of tiny air sacs that reduce the weight of these large birds, which is thought to help them soar long distances without using muscle energy.

An old Brazilian legend tells us,🙏☘️
there was a tribe that considered the Moon as a goddess called Jaci. This goddess had the habit of going through the skies to be able to look for the most beautiful indigenous virgins from above, and she transformed those she considered the most beautiful into stars.
One day ( a young warrior and princess )Naiá🙎🌿 contemplated the image of Jaci in the calm waters of a lake, and sure that the goddess had finally descended to meet her, the warrior princess jumped into the water to never come out again. . The goddess contemplated the scene and took pity on the girl, although instead of saving her life she decided to grant her wishes and turn her into a star, but not just any star, but a different one.

This is how the princess became the "Star of the Waters", the so-called Victoria Amazonica. the largest of the water lilies and whose leaves only fully unfold at night.
