So, in Finland, we do eat a lot of icecream. And not only in summer. I've seen with my own eyes whole families eating icecreams after a good walk in a sunny but freezing winter day. Icecrean as a snack during outdoor activites in winter? Why not actually, for one thing, the icecream will not melt in your bag. I like this picture with the tram and the commercial for icecream products in a snowy environment with the almost frozen sea in the background.
