It's on the second Saturday of every month with a great selection of stalls - treat yourself to the best coffee and cakes as well as a little treat from a choice of artists and crafters inside the hall.

❗Saturday 10th August, 10am-1pm❗

🙄 Never mind Keith Show or MacMoray, come along and support your dedicated stall holders who come each month to supply you with local produce, plus some new faces too! 🤩

✨Also, come along and support Speyside Youth who will be selling candy floss and have a spectacular selection of bottles to be won on their bottle stall.

✨There will be a FREE bouncy castle and face painting in the hall.

✨And don't forget, the Legion will be working the kitchen and making delicious bacon rolls and coffees and teas.

Something there for the whole family!

The guests granny was born here on Christmas Day in 1900! I love this!!

As a new business we're always keen to hear constructive feedback too. A request for a teapot has been made so we'll have that sorted by the end of the week.

Aberlour, on the Speyside Way, is a lovely place to spend some time.... there's a fantastic offroad cycle route straight from the Barn that will take you there, where a choice of shops and cafes awaits you.

We've got limited availability in July and August, including from next Saturday as well as for the Dufftown Highland Games.

"Rockview Barn is lovely and the welcome pack much appreciated. We've explored from Dufftown to Lossiemouth & beyond. Don't be afraid to travel the countryside.
If you fancy learning to paddleboard I fully recommend Blue Coast surf & paddleboarding at Cullen Bay. Introductory lesson for couples is £80 for 2hrs. You just need your swimmers.
Closer to home Balvenie Castle 1/2 mile walk through wooded area from the edge of this new estate (signposted). Come back past Glenfiddich Distillery & up the main street, stopping at the Glassworks for a fully loaded hot chocolate (or a brew).
The Seven Stills restaurant is a pre-book only and is fantastic- book online.
Waking up at Rockview is tranquil, especially when there is deer in the garden. The house is clean, bed very comfortable and would happily stay here again.

If you're after a trip to the coast during your visit, you're spoilt for choice! Lossiemouth, Hopeman, or Findhorn are just a few on offer, but Cullen, at only a 30-minute drive away, is a must (and a definite favourite of ours, it's gorgeous!) 🩵

It looks like the weather may be turning and summer finally making an appearance! 🌞

There are numerous fantastic walks, including the Convals, which can be started straight from The Barn, or a bigger hike up Ben Rinnes (middle peak), the local Corbett which is only an 8 minute drive to the start.

We have availability this coming Saturday, 22nd June, for the week. Rockview Barn is a 2 bedroom property with 2 bathrooms, a small enclosed garden in a quiet, peaceful location, and walking distance to local shops, cafes, and restaurants in the heart of whisky country.

The Barn this morning 💛💜🩵

The birds are singing loudly, deer have already passed through and the pheasants have dropped in too, posing for the camera! (Bottom left). We've also seen a little hedgehog a few times this week too - who knew they moved so fast?!

It's one of the reasons we love this little corner, and hope you will too.

There's limited availability in June with more dates available through July if you're looking for a peaceful getaway.

Dufftown has a great monthly farmers market where you'll find a fantastic selection of local produce and crafts!

We reckon the coffee and cakes are delicious and Stacey will also be there with some of her art. This month is also a special one with fundraising and flowers and gardening activities for the kids 🌿🌺☕️🍰

10am - 1pm, Saturday 11th at British Legion, Balvenie Street.

Join us on Saturday 11th May from 10am - 1pm for our New Growth market, where we hope to finally embrace spring and leave the winter behind us.

Looks a great day next Saturday 13th!

Celebrating all things whisky in the run up to Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival , there will be the usual stalls including local crafters and some of the best coffee and cakes!

This month in the lead up to the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival we will have lots on offer as well as the usual cracking line up of producers.

🤩 - a cooper from Speyside Cooperage Visitor Centre Ltd demonstrating how to make barrels
🤩 - a bottle of whisky and 2 tickets to the ceilidh we are running at the Whisky Capital Inn, Dufftown up for grabs in our raffle
🤩 - a few wee free whiskies to taste thanks to The Whisky Shop Dufftown
🤩 - a lowdown on some of the events still available to book at the festival
🤩 - and the icing on the cake, Dufftown & District Pipeband will be playing for you, as well as raising some funds.

We're having a snowy start to spring here, but it doesn't stop our regulars from visiting the garden!

This picture was taken a few months ago, but at this time of year, we're beginning to see more groups together, and it won't be long until they wander through with their young.

Balvenie Castle today.

Built in the 13th century it hosted Mary Queen of Scots in 1562 as well as King Edward I of England.

It's only a 10 minute walk from the Barn, next door to Glenfiddich Distillery and the return walk can be extended to take in the centre of Dufftown, with its shops and cafes. A highly recommended local walk to while away a few hours!

Just under 2 years ago, we threw down the decorating tools and headed to the coast, constantly refreshing Facebook updates on orca sightings! What an absolute treat it was!

And today they are back, just off Macduff.

At under 1hrs drive away, there's every chance you'll get a chance to see these magnificent creatures, some of the resident Moray Firth bottlenose dolphins, minke whales or even basking sharks!

I honestly love this corner of the world!
