RV Inspections | New RV Orientation | RV Consultant Hey there! I then spent 20 years in the trucking industry as a driver and a manager.

My name is Steve and my wife and daughter travel full-time in our Class-A diesel pusher and we absolutely love living the RV life! I served in the USAF for a few years and had a blast serving others as I was in the Services group working in food service and fitness training. I've traveled all across this beautiful country but never really stopped to explore. It was always a dream of ours to buy an
RV and travel to see all there is! I can tell you, after two years, we've barely scratched the surface. With that, we don't see ourselves settling down too soon. I decided I wanted to help others find and get in their RV of their dreams so they could enjoy this lifestyle! Whether you're looking to travel part-time or full, the RV is a huge investment and the last thing you want to do is buy that beautiful rig only to have it in the shop for endless days. That's where I come in, I want to help you avoid getting an RV that will have issues you may not know about. I can tell you as a RV owner, you never stop learning about your investment. There's so many little details that can be overlooked when at the dealer or private seller that you may not notice and I want to help you understand all the ins and outs. From inspecting to doing a walk-thru orientation with your new RV, you'll feel more confident and have more peace of mind. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Thinking of Buying an RV? You Need to Hear This First!(EPISODE 281)▶︎ SUBSCRIBE HERE 👉🏻 https://www.youtube.com/c/LivinRVision?sub_confirmation=1ℹ️ About t...
Wanted to share a few experiences and why I got into being an RV Inspector. These 5 examples say it all! I can honestly say that it’s been an eye opening experience into the RV industry! I’ve learned so much about all the different types of RVs and all of the components that come with them. I’ve met some amazing people and heard some great stories, and not so great stories of people’s experiences in the RV life.
It’s also been emotional at times when I’m doing an inspection at a private seller and they are present. We end up chatting, sharing stories, and getting to know them. There have been times when I’ve found major issues that they had no idea about, sometimes it’s been enough that my client would walk away from the RV sale. While the ultimate goal is to help our clients avoid a nightmare RV, it still hits hard when the seller genuinely was unaware of the issues and you feel really bad for them because not only did they lose the sale, they now have to repair what the issues are and hope to find another buyer.
Just wanted to share some thoughts. All in all, I couldn’t be happier that I made the time to invest in the education from the NRVTA and the NRVIA to get into this field of work! It’s been so rewarding to know that I’m helping people have more confidence and peace of mind as they either embark or continue on their RV Journey!
The bottom line is, you don’t know what you don’t know. Whether you’re a buyer of an RV or a seller, it helps to have someone come in and look over the RV to help you better understand the it and point out the things that you are not aware of so they can be addressed. Not only do I do an inspection for a potential buyer, I also do them for the sellers so they can have some peace of mind knowing they’re selling a solid RV with no hidden issues.

Happy Veterans Day 🇺🇸 to all who have served and the families that have sacrificed so much so that we may have our freedoms and liberties in this great country! ❤️🤍💙
🚨BUYER BEWARE🚨
I am a Certified RV Inspector with the NRVIA, and I’ve done many inspections at many dealers, and never had any issues. Lately, I’ve come across a dealer, called Blue Compass, they are nationwide, and seem to be growing. Last week I had a client want an inspection done on a brand new Keystone Montana, and the dealership would not allow me to be on property to inspect. They say their insurance doesn’t cover it. I will tell you that, if you get a Certified RV Inspector, they, as am I, are fully insured. They also claim to have Certified RV Technicians that do a thorough inspection of any RV that is sold. While I’m not discounting the quality of their technicians, the fact is they are paid by the dealership. The main reason for getting a third-party inspector is so that you have a unbiased person that’s on YOUR side, that will look out for YOU as a client. The dealers best interest is to make the sale and tell you that whatever needs to be fixed, will be covered under warranty. Well, that is true, however, getting warranty work done on an RV is not an easy process. It is 100% better to have found the issues before signing the contract and buying the RV because they will fix them immediately to make the sale go through. My client ended up backing out of the sale and I helped him find one of a similar floorplan in a different area and the dealership was 100% encouraging third-party inspectors because this dealership actually cares about their customers.
Quick fact, the misconception about RV inspectors is that we are there to kill the deal for the dealership or a private party, the fact is, we’re there to help them make the sale get done because, it is in the customers best interest if we find the issues before they do. No matter where are you located or where the RV you’re looking at that is located, you can find a Certified RV Inspector at…

Please please please, do your homework and do your research and if you find a dealership or a private party, that does not allow third-party inspectors, walk away! There are plenty of dealers and private sellers that will.
I am making this post to make new buyers aware of this dealership. I think it’s bad business for a dealership to not allow third-party inspectors. Maybe, if enough people make noise about this, they will change their views. I’m not making this post because I am bitter about losing a couple inspections because of this dealership, I’m making this post because I genuinely care about people who buy RVs and want them to have a great experience because as a full-timer myself, it’s nice to know you have somebody looking out for YOU! Because the sad truth is, most dealerships are not looking out for you, they’re looking out for themselves!
Received a couple great reviews today!! So thankful for my clients and having the privilege of helping these guys out! 🤩
This makes our 4th 5 star review! Beyond humbled by this! Thank you so much for such a great review!! 🙏🏼
Another great review!! I can’t even describe the good feeling it is to help someone out on their new adventure. 🤩
First review from an awesome client! This is why I decided to become an inspector!! 😎

There's so many little details that can be overlooked when at the dealer or private seller that you may not notice and I want to help you understand all the ins and outs. Our inspections are very detailed and you will get around 100 photos and some videos, including 360 images of the interior and the undercarriage as well as overhead photos via a drone, (weather permitting), as we go over every nuke and cranny of the RV! From inspecting to doing a walk-thru orientation with your new RV, you'll feel more confident and have more peace of mind.
We offer fluid analysis of the oil, transmission fluid, and coolant whether it's a motorhome, generator, or your truck being used to pull your RV. Wouldn't you like to know the quality of those fluids? That can be done as part of the inspection or if you just have a desire to check on your fluids.
I also have training in servicing generators and helping you build and install a solar package!
Looking forward to hearing from you!

🔥FIRE SAFETY - READ & SAVE🔥Did you know that most RVs come with only one fire extinguisher rated at 5-B:C? It is strongly recommended by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) that any RV, regardless of size, should have a fire extinguisher rated at least at 10-B:C. 🔥When operating a fire extinguisher, remember the word PASS:•Pull the pin. Hold the extinguisher with the nozzle pointing away from you and release the locking mechanism.•Aim low. Point the extinguisher at the base of the fire.•Squeeze the lever slowly and evenly.•Sweep the nozzle from side-to-side.🔥When to replace a fire extinguisher? It is recommended to replace fire extinguishers after they have discharged or they are 5-10 years old. (As a rule of thumb, when inspecting an RV, I always recommend replacing if it’s over 5 years)🔥 How to dispose of a fire extinguisher?• If it’s empty, take to a recycling station • If it’s still full, take to a Household Hazardous Waste facility • Take to a local fire station. They can typically discharge it and dispose of it. 🔥Follow us @tucknroll_rvlivin for more safety tips in your RV! #firesafety #firesafetytips #rvsafety #rvcommunity
