Dear your food literally sucked. I was extremely disappointed. The only thing good was the bacon !

I ordered Mac n cheese, that tasted like it came out a box .

Mash potatoes and steak that had no seasoning or sauce. It was VERY HARD to chew.

The green beans wasn’t even cooked,

The beignets was doughy & full of air in the middle.

The strawberry cheesecake tasted like you put jelly on top of it and hurt naked it strawberry cheesecake.

The crime brûlée cheesecake tasted like you burned the sugar defeating all purposes .

The bacon was good, but still cold

I would NOT recommend eating here 2/10 - because of bacon !

Traveling the world is fun ! With the right food, it makes it 100 times better❤️

As my first time back in D.C since I was 13 years old, I was hesitant on what to eat. Especially to make my first time magical. I was walking down the street and getting ready to call an Uber, and I came across 3 food trucks near Howard university. I was hesitant on which one to choose BUT in the end.. I chose ❤️

Food Review : Overall I would give this amazing dish a 8/10.. The Rice 10/10… Curry Chicken 8/10.. the jerk chicken 10/10.. plantains 10/10.. Presentation 9/10!!!!

The food was delicious, each item definitely had its own flare of flavor. However, the curry chicken had a bit too much mustard. It over powered the chicken in a way. The sauce was delicious, but I do although wish it wasn’t the main focus.

The Jerk chicken was perfect ! The slight spices exploded into my mouth , and the juicy chicken made made it all the better!

The rice was amazing. I wish there was more rice served! Because I had a lot of meat which would’ve been my only preference .

The plantains and something I’m now getting used to. But they were sweet and savory. Honestly the best item on the plate. Dreaming about those plantains now 😫😭😂.

Washington D.C is definitely a place I fell in love with. The culture is beyond beautiful. I felt safe and comfortable as a black person, this is a high suggestion if you’re ever looking for somewhere to live ! The food is amazing you should definitely try something called Mumbo Wings when you are here. It’s a sweet and tangy sauce full of deliciousness. You also HAVE TO GET IT all over your fries. Next time I come I will do museum visits and videos! For now we will talk soon. Much love family !

I’m introducing you to my fav Birria Taco place on my side of town! - if you’re looking for ANYTHING birria this is for you!

Presentation 10/10 - everything came separately! The tacos were cooked until golden ! Cheese is ‘ouzing’ out of its shell . The sauce of the meet is dripping from the taco ! This is definitely a mouth watering dish.

Taste 9/10 Even though it looked juicy.. I would actually prefer more sauce added on the tacos. Since it’s a hard shell it’s hard to chew without some kind of liquid to break down all of the tasty flavors. Although, the dish taste is immaculate! The presentation definitely matches its taste ! The meat was perfectly cooked, and once dipped in the birria sauce it adds a juicy richness to the taco.

Overall 10/10 This place is unforgettable, and I can’t wait to go back for more. Thank you for having me !

Soul food.. omggg let’s talk about it! This amazing AA sandwich! Cornbread bun with creamy Mac n cheese , fried chicken, and greens. - It was love at first sight !

Presentation 10/10 - As the daughter of a celebrity chef who specializes in soul food and presentation.. I always pay close attention to the platting . I believe what they created here is a master piece. It’s original, and digestible to the eyes. It’s just enough.

Taste 10/10 : From the sweet buttery corn bread, to the creamy Mac n cheese, down to the juicy greens.. I couldn’t get enough. Went back twice while in Minneapolis. Make sure you add hot sauce -btw

For anyone who eats vegan they also have that option.

Overall 10/10 experience great customer service, great food, and presentation! Thank you for having me. Another restaurant I will return to ! ❤️✊🏽
