Starting 28 November 2020, Passengers travelling to the Philippines will be required to use Traze app, a nationwide and unified automated contact tracing application designed by the Department of Transportation (DOTr).

Prior to entering the airport premises, all passengers will have to download and register an account on the Traze Contact Tracing app.

Upon downloading, users simply have to open the app, click the “Register” button, and register as an “individual.” Users need to follow simple instructions indicated in the app and input the required information to activate their account.

Upon activation, users will then receive a personal QR code that allows them access and entry just by scanning it at the entrance of the airport terminal and other designated areas using the application.

Traze App is available for download from the App Store for iOS devices and on the Google Play Store for Android devices.

REMINDERS TO ALL TRAVELLERS TO THE PHILIPPINES
Due to the evolving COVID-19 situation, the Philippine Government and airlines that have international flights bound for Manila, Cebu and Clark, have issued precautionary measures, mandatory protocols and requirements for entry to the Philippines as issued by IATF.
Please be advised that an Overseas Filipino Worker or OFW is a person from the Philippines, holding a valid Philippine passport or Philippine travel document, and who is living and working in another country, typically on a temporary basis. This includes land-based OFWs and seafarers/sea-based OFWs. Families travelling together with at least one OFW will be considered all OFWs. Non-OFWs refer to Returning Overseas Filipinos (non-OFW students, non-OFW Balikbayan, non-OFW tourist, etc.), spouse and children of Filipinos, diplomats, foreign officials accredited by the Philippines, and eligible non-Filipino/foreign citizens with long-term visas. For Non-OFWs, you are advised to have a Philippine entry visa or long-term on your passport and must be able to comply with other IATF/EID guidelines. You may further consult with the airlines on what documents you are required to have before entering the Philippines.
a. ELECTRONIC CASE INVESTIGATION FORM (ECIF) – To fast track mandatory health protocols upon arrival in Manila, please register online at least three (3) days prior to departure from Spain for mandatory swab testing when your arrive in the Philippines through
https://e-cif.redcross.org.ph.
1. Open the internet browser and go to the link above.
2. Fill out the forms completely and click “Submit” to register.
3. Save the QR Code in mobile phones or tablets by taking a screenshot or printing out a copy of the QR Code to be presented at the airport upon health assessment for the RT-PCR Testing for COVD-19. You may also save or print the QR code received by email.
4. Please email a copy of your ticket to [email protected].
b. OFW Assistance Information System (OASIS) - For returning OFWs, please also register with OWWA’s OASIS program through http://oasis.owwa.gov.ph to facilitate other government support services such as hotel accommodation and transfer.
c. For non-OFWs and foreigners, pre-book online a quarantine facility of your choice through http://quarantine.doh.gov.ph/facilities-inspected-as-of.../. You have to shoulder the cost of the swab test (P4,500), hotel accommodation and transfer. Foreigners who wish to go to the Philippines are advised to please inquire beforehand with the Philippine Embassy if they are qualified to apply for a visa or re-enter the country with their both valid ACR and visa by sending an email to [email protected].
d. Swab test results will be communicated by email. Only those who have tested negative for Covid-19 will be allowed to proceed home or to their final destination.
e. When using public transportation, including air transportation, wear face shields in addition to face masks.
f. Coordinate with your respective provinces, cities and municipalities which may have their own separate testing and quarantine protocols.
Thank you.
