Negatives are the bathrooms, 80% permanent mobile homes
But it’s been a worthwhile trip, and we enjoyed ourselves.

Went to the Ty Cobb Museum today. They tried really hard to prove he was a super nice guy and that everybody loved him.
It was cool to see the memorabilia, none the less.
On our last day at Lake Aire RV Park, we went to Caw Caw Interpretive Park. Some trails we avoided due to muddy puddles, but the part we did explore was very interesting.
Highly recommend.
You’d think we went off-roading, but nooooo…….
Just drove to our current campsite down the I’ll-managed drive.
Lots of deep potholes filled with water.
2 days of driving so far, and at least 4 major accidents causing stopped traffic on 95 between Daytona and Charleston. Thankfully only 1 was Northbound.
None were RV related that I could tell, but there are many crazy “in a hurry” people out there.
Be cautious driving.
We are out and about for a bit exploring SE America!
Great morning! Breakfast on the beach, then drove along New Smyrna B*h up to the jetty, where we walked the 2 mile boardwalk.
Great time!
Must have chucked 40+ ducks!
Everybody smiled!
Finally made it to Buc-ees!
And bought a perfect pillow!
Ducked 9 Jeeps here tonight!
These are the ramps we had to build to get our camper level in our driveway for loading and unloading days.
They stay home, as they weigh a ton, but they work well.
Made it to Crystal Isle RV Park by Crystal River, Fl.
Beautiful place.

I made these bags for my chairs from the bedspread that came with our camper.
They have double duty as a perfect leg warmer bag!
Kinda like 1/2 a sleeping bag.

The JEEP pushed us all the way to SC yesterday in time to catch a pretty sunset.
At sunrise this morning it was 48. Brrrrr🥶
Glad we brought lots of warm clothes.
We are about 1/2 way between Savannah & Charleston so lots of adventures starting today!
We will be camping at Cedars of Lebanon State Park in early November.
Any advice? Must Do’s?
Had a lovely time in the Florida Keys.

Some times things just work out for the good. We planned a quiet day.... mopping floors and doing laundry.
Lo and behold, a couple squalls came through.
Good reason to NOT be tent camping!
Well, we’ve Ducked all the Jeep’s we’ve found
Spread a Smile!
Yesterday we took a 70 mile ferry trip from Key West to the Dry Tortugas National Park to see 1st hand Fort Jefferson. It was a 3 hr boat ride over open seas. We spent time walking all around and inside the fort, and then snorkeled in the clear waters. When the ferry brought us back to Key West we were too tired to stay down there and explore that area, so we drove back to our camper and stopped for a fabulous dinner on the way.
Fabulous day, and so glad we were finally able to do this.
Fabulous day driving down to the Keys. Once we got here, I got lost walking through this beautiful campground. Thank goodness for the “find my friend” app! Got back to the camper safely!
Such a nice and clean place.
I’ll post more pics...... over the next week and a half.
Did a little vinyl decorating today.......
Spent a nice morning walking the boardwalk thru this Preserve. Met some nice people, and saw some wildlife, but no gators.
We love Florida. So many interesting places to explore.
Had some minor warranty work done, so we headed to Flagler Beach to get back in the groove.
Spent this morning just cruising the nearby attraction.
3 A/C’s out in one month.
1st the new camper,
2nd my beloved Miata
3rd the stick and brick house.
All in the month of July!

TIP FOR THE DAY
Hate dirty floors in your RV?
Use a swiffer mop with a dish rag! Reusable, washable, scrubs really well!
I keep a spray bottle of 2/3 water, 1/3 vinegar, and a drop or 2 of blue dawn.
Spray and mop with the rag wet.
Keeps ants away, powerful cleaning, and you can rinse the rag out during mopping if you are in a muddy spot.
AND, the handle comes apart for easy storage! Bonus!
Had fun doing crafts today, especially in the air conditioned building

Of course our A/C quit working yesterday, so we are stuck inside with the fans.
Good thing we not only love each other, but also enjoy each other’s company.
This weather shall pass
We already cancelled our next stop, and decided to head straight home in front of Elsa
Got to duck this fine looking Jeep.
A bit pricey, but oh, so nice.
We left Florida in mid-May, and went all the way to Seattle.
It’s good to be back in Florida.
We have a few nights here, and then a few nights at Crystal Springs, then home.
I’m enjoying every moment.
The 2021 Entegra Odyssey 24 B has done us well this voyage.
