We will start our Ocracoke business features now with hopes of getting through most of them within the next month or so. We want to make sure and highlight the offerings that the island has (no, we are not compensated) so that your stay at the Pearl (or anywhere else on the island) might be smoother and more enjoyable. Today we are featuring Ocracoke Beach Outfitters. We have used them multiple times over the years and their service never disappoints. So many times it is impossible to pay everything you need for the trip, but dont worry, they have you covered. Leave the beach chairs, bikes and baby strollers at home. We highly suggest you order online- for multiple reasons. One, so that you can get what you need and two, so that they can ensure they will be prepared for the upcoming season. Soooo- why not pack light this year and support the Ocracoke community. They appreciate it !!! Pearl has a very rare last minute opening on April 29th & 30th. It is the PERFECT time to be on the island. ALL of the restaurants are OPEN, the shops are open and the beaches are lovely as always !!! PSA: You can now book your Swan Quarter or Cedar Island Ferry reservations if you are coming to the island between now and July 15th. Book now because they reservations will be filling up soon !! Early booking also allows the NCDOT know how the ferry schedules look so that they can plan accordingly. Not sure where to find the reservation site? Search: NCDOT Ferry Reservation. Please remember that you need to arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled ferry time or your ferry time might be given away.

Finally !!! The island has had a nice rest over the Winter and she is waking up and getting ready for you !! I will try (you know things get crazy for us here on the mainland) to start posting island info, things to do, business to support and reservations you need to start making. All these things you can do to have a smooth and fulfilling trip to the island.

Oh No !!!!!!! Eduardo's is CLOSING after this season !!! If you are coming to the island after March 28th you HAVE TO EAT AT EDUARDO'S !!! It is Iconic Ocracoke !!! We are devastated, but understand the need to slow down a bit !! If nothing else, come to the island to enjoy the last year of something so special.

What an opportunity !! You can book online to make it super easy. A full day for 6 people is $1800 with a half day at $750. There really is so much to do on the island, why not try something that is truly special !!
