Its world princess week!! This summer I got to meet several princess on the Disney Magic! Disney Cruise Line offers A Royal Gathering where you get to meet muliple princess in the ships atrium. This is a free meet and greet but you do have to reserve a time slot ahead of time and they fill up quickly! The princesses really take their time with each guest and you can either purchase the professional photos, or they are happy to take photos and videos with your phone!

I’m not normally someone who meets characters but I had a wonderful time meeting these ladies 🫶

☀️This summer was one I will never forget. I got to sail to Disney’s new private island destination in the Bahamas and visit Aulani, a Disney resort and spa. I bonded with my fellow travel agents and made memories that will last a lifetime with my family.

But I have to say, I’m so ready for sweater weather! Who’s with me?! Want to head into spooky season with some magic to look forward to message me! Also, Disney vacations make a wonderful Christmas present and it’s not too late to book the holidays!

🎆YOU GUYS!!! There was so much HUGE Disney Parks news announced yesterday!! I am still processing all of it and I am so so so so so excited for what is to come! Some of the things I’m looking forward to the most are..

✨Walt Disney animatronic at Disneyland in Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln-this made me emotional, I think Walt would be honored to be remembered and to be sharing a stage with his idol Abraham Lincoln.

✨A new Monsters Inc Land at Hollywood Studios. Oh my gosh am I excited for this. There’s going to be a super cool rollercoaster (I just hope they don’t destroy the muppets area to make this).

✨Animal Kingdom is gettingan Indiana Jones ride, an Encanto Attraction, a Zootopia attraction, and so much more. I am so excited to see what changes they make to this park!!!!

✨Avatar themed land in California! This will be themed after the next several Avatar movies and not a direct copy of Animal Kingdoms Pandora.

✨Magic Kingdom is getting a brand new night time parade, a VILLAINS LAND, and a Cars Land. I can not believe villains land is actually happening, I might be the most excited for this.

These are just the highlights. There was so much more that Disney had up their sleeve and I genuinely can not wait to see these things come to life in the parks. The next 5 years are going to be magical!!

🍧🍧One of the best treats at Aulani, a Disney resort and spa in Hawaii???? Mickey shave ice!

We loved going every day and getting fun tropical flavors to cool down in the heat. Treats just taste better when they have ears!

🍍 Happy Dole Whip Day 🍍

Dole whip is one of Disney World’s most famous treats. However, it didn’t originate there! Where did it come from? Hawaii of course! While visiting Aulani a Disney Resort and Spa this summer, we ventured to the Dole pineapple plantation. It was so cool to see acres and acres of pineapples growing. The dole whip here was so fresh and delicious. I have to say my favorite is still pineapple vanilla swirl.

“Adults only on a Disney cruise??? Isn’t that just for kids??”

This is something I hear all the time and it couldn’t be further from the truth. Yes, Disney does kids and family entertainment very well. But, they also do adult exclusive entertainment like no other. If you are brining the little ones along, they can enjoy supervised time in the kids clubs while the parents take some alone.

What is there to do??

💵LET’S TALK ABOUT MY FAVORITE VALUE RESORT💵

✨I find that there’s often this stigma that “Disney vacations are so expensive, I could never afford one”. However, Disney offers resorts at all price points including value, moderate, and deluxe.

🕺🏼🪩There are 5 value resorts on property. Pop century is my favorite. Why? The sections of the resort are themed to decades 50’s-90’s! It’s super fun with bright colors and larger than life memorabilia from each decade.

🚠 THE SKYLINER!! This is the biggest perk of staying at Pop Century! A quick, easy, and enjoyable way to get to 2 other resorts, and also 2 theme parks.

🧳Value resorts can be a great option. They may not be for everyone. If you’re looking for a more elevated travel experience, moderate and deluxe resorts will suit you better. But don’t sleep on value resorts!

✴️ When you choose me as your travel agent, I always make resort recommendations based on what’s going to be best for your family and your budget. I have also stayed at all the categories of resorts at Walt Disney World, so I really am an expert!

🍔 HAPPY NATIONAL HAMBURGER DAY 🍔​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​🍔 You know I couldn’t let this day come and go without talking about my favorite burger! The cheeseburger pods from Satuli Canteen in Animal Kingdom are soft and fluffy bao buns filled with hamburger, cheese, pickles, onions, and magic (ok, it doesn’t say that on the menu but I swear it has to be in there). I crave them at home. It’s a must try!!

☀️ SUMMER IS ALMOST HERE☀️

💦That means it’s about to get HOT in Orlando! If you’re traveling in the summer, make sure to bring water bottles into the park. You can refill them in several places and can ask for free cups of ice water at quick service locations!

🧴Don’t forget the sunscreen! The Orlando sun is intense and you don’t want to be burned and miserable on your magical vacation.

👙Also, remember to take breaks! Find AC when you can, and don’t be afraid to pop back to your resort for an hour or 2 in the middle of the day. You will thank yourself. I know when I get hot and tired things become way less magical. 🤣

LET’S TALK ABOUT DISNEY TRANSPORTATION

Walt Disney World has so many incredible forms of transportation that are included with your on property vacation package!!!

The most common is bus transportation, but there are also boats, a monorail, and the Skyliner! These options will get you where you want to go on property and run all day including before and after park hours!

What’s my favorite? I love staying at a resort that has access to the skyliner or monorail. It cuts down on transportation time and honestly is just more enjoyable and fun.

I’m back from my short little trip to Walt Disney World. If you’ve been thinking about a last minute or weekend get away, do it, it was so refreshing and fun. It was magical.

I am happy to be home and eagerly (and anxiously) looking forward to starting my new job very very soon!
