Our last porch picture- this bittersweet chapter is closing after 5 years of short term rental 💙

A big THANK YOU for all the support the past 5 years from our guests staying with us to the behind the scenes teams making it possible & to our friends and families for supporting us by helping us w/ projects and/or telling your friends about our place!

Some of our favorite memories of this adventure include- reading guests reviews and their kind, sweet words, taking the plunge to manage ourselves and having the most profitable 6 months to date & coming home from a trip & realizing we were pregnant with Finnegan.

Thanks to Garrett for always believing in my crazy ideas & supporting them. It couldn’t have been possible with a team effort!

We’ve been through it all , from hurricane Michael to Covid— you’ve always stood strong! We’re sure going to miss those porch memories.

Now to see what kind of crazy this next adventure brings — looking toward to a little less “to do’s and a little more “living”

Big announcement today! The owners will officially be taking over as your hosts. What does that mean for our guests? We will be managing the property ourselves & making sure each and every stay is fab! We have been working hard the past few months customizing our home for guests and getting it ready for this BIG change. We can’t wait to share the home & beach we love with you all soon 🏝☀️

Such a small detail in this picture, now a significant piece of our homes history- see that spray painted green line? That was how we knew our home was “ a go” to turn on the electricity after hurricane Michael. A sigh of relief to see in such a devastating time- the mark will be there as long as we own the home, it’s part of our story. 💙🏝

Did you know the owners live locally too? We live in St. Andrews area of PC. This was our sunset view last night, we can only imagine how beautiful the sunset was last night in MB. If you’re ever headed this way on your vacay to MB let us know and we will fill you in on the must do’s! We are just a short drive away if you need anything. 🏝

we sure are thankful for the people who help us do projects like this at our house, they’ve been helping us since day 1- from painting to post hurricane fixes, etc. they are the best & we couldn’t have gotten this far without them!

Rain or shine, our huge screened in porch is where we eat all of our meals ! There’s just something about the fresh ocean air that we love- our outside dining table seats 6, we also have plenty of extra seating out there too! And- with two ceiling fans there’s always a breeze. 💙
