Who we are.

Gerard Baker and I (Phil Hunter) have been working together on expedition ships in the polar regions for the past six years. We’ve worked on some wonderful ships with some truly excellent people, and in the process we’ve had an opportunity to travel, work, and fall in love with some of the world’s most beautiful places.

The two of us have traveled to the extreme south on the Antarctic Peninsula, to the extreme north in Svalbard and Eastern Greenland. We’ve helped people connect with these incredible natural spaces thousands of times over, and have noticed one thing. These connections happen most when things aren’t rushed. Give people the space and capacity to explore for themselves and let these amazing places impact our guests the way they have us.

What we want to do is use our experience to find the best place for a given day - unhindered by large groups or set itineraries. We want to experience what we have in front of us in the best fashion, and travel in the most environmentally conscious way possible. We do this by chartering ships that aren’t afraid to go to the ice, and by spending all the time we need to in the areas that are most important to us. We do this by giving back and cleaning plastic debris and flotsam in otherwise pristine locations. We also provide a thorough and tailored education program to go along with your trip.

We would appeal to all those whose philosophy agrees with ours - that time is our most important asset. When we travel, we will work to fulfill, if not exceed, the potential of the time you choose to share with us.
