Octavia's Bio: Ohhh has been teaching dance and training dancers for the last 13 years. Though she is mostly self adept she has trained at the world renowned Broadway Dance Center in New York City as well as many other dance companies in New York City. Within her years of teaching she has continuously sought after dancers she knew had far more potential than others saw, and giving them opportuniti

es to perform and train with her; many of those dancers have gone on to work off broadway, in innovative dance projects lead by top choreographers and with artist like Beyonce, Katy Perry, and Ariana Grande. Commercial work, however, isn't her focus, Ohhh has worked with and trained dancers in Mumbai, India and Kathmandu, Nepal, University of Miami, NYC Board of Education and more, training students in not only the art of dance, but the art of being better people through dance. She continues to create an emotionally safe, creative, disciplined, organized, and innovative learning environment for all students she encounters. TODP is an international cooperative dance program that fuses Hip-Hop, Jazz and Lyrical to teach students to not only be better dancers, but to be comfortable in their bodies . TODP has been taught in schools and studios in NYC, Miami, Ft Lauderdale, Nepal, and India. #Each1Teach1 as the Team Ohhh Mini's from the Diamond Minds Transformational are practicing and waiting on deck to perform... An on looker asked them to "teach" him something, this years curriculum is based around working on different skill sets they decided to reach him "knees to feet" in his white pants hahahaha.... I Love my LIFE

None of the youth that I work with are professional. 50% of the youth I work with have never even taken class before. 100% of them don't realize how great they can be, but it's my duty to help them realize. Art expression is 100% of what the actual human experience is about. It's not easy, there's tears, there's joy, there's always a bigger challenge around the corner, it can be done alone but better with others. This duet is from this past summer at camp. Team Ohhh 1st year trainee/assistant, Kate was given the opportunity to co-choreograph with me and choreograph 95% of her solos within this duet. She has always been a STELLAR STUDENT but she blew me away with how outstanding she was as a counter-part in the program. She and the other 4 trainees/assistants have set the standard.
