Good luck to Russell Smart who has just passed through Lulworth Cove on a challenge to walk 150 miles, between 8-17th Feb along the south coast from Ventnor on the Isle of Wight to Torbay.

His colleague, James Ashton who was diagnosed with MND seven years ago, loves the sea and is a keen fisherman. He has been fortunate to be able to still access the sea on his own specially modified boat. James has donated a new boat to the WETWHEELS FOUNDATION to operate in the Torbay area. Russel is walking to raise money for the running costs of the boat and to ensure that it can be accessed by the maximum number of people each year.

James will be doing his own challenge of static cycling 100 km, the distance from Ventnor to Torbay by Sea.
