Tap-In Tours recently did back-to-back trips to Dublin: 16 women (see the Facebook post below) followed by 10 couples immediately afterwards. The Couples played the same great golf courses (except Royal Dublin instead of Jameson Links), stayed in the same wonderful hotels (K Club, Druids Glen and The Mont), plus they added a few incredible activities at The K Club (falconry and horseback riding). Amazingly, the "Lassies" beat the "Lads" in our trip-long competition. 👏🏆 As always, feel free to visit Betsy Aldrich's page for additional individual trip photos.

Tap-In Tours recently had a wonderful trip to Dublin, Ireland with a group of 16 women. We played five fabulous links courses (The Island, Portmarnock Old, Jameson Links, County Louth, and The European Club), four gorgeous parkland courses (Druids Glen, Druids Heath, K Club Palmer North and K Club Palmer South), stayed at a couple five-star resorts (The K Club and Druids Glen), did some amazing sightseeing in Dublin, had wonderful weather and loads of fun! Tap-In Tours just spent three straight weeks in Canada. The third group of 15 women (from MN, CO, NY, and Japan) visited the Banff/Lake Louise area. Our itinerary included four stunning rounds of golf (Stewart Creek, Mount Kidd, Banff Springs and Mickelson National), a day trip to Lake Louise, high tea at the Fairmont Chateau Hotel (on the day Queen Elizabeth died😔), two different gondola rides, some hiking, lots of shopping and a wide variety of excellent dining. Another winning destination!

OK - this might look like a duplicate post, but Tap-In Tours actually took two groups to Whistler on back-to-back weeks in 2022! The Hopkins Elks Lodge #2221 trip included couples and singles with golfers and non-golfers. In addition to playing golf, we took a helicopter ride, sampled vodka in a frozen ice bar, visited Scandinave Spa, rode the Peak 2 Peak gondola, sabered two bottles of champagne and danced to some live Irish music. What a blast!

Tap-In Tours recently visited Whistler with super-fun group of 12 women. This particular trip had been "rolled-over" for 2+ years due to Covid, but it was definitely worth the wait! We played four rounds of golf with incredible scenery, enjoyed five-star dining, did the Peak 2 Peak gondola, rode in a floatplane, had spectacular weather the whole time, and capped it off by sabering some champagne. There are waaaay too many pictures to post, but here's a sample:

Tap-In Tours just returned from a 4th of July Extravaganza at Sand Valley Golf Resort in Wisconsin. Five couples were part of a larger Golfers Journal group that played Sand Valley, Mammoth Dunes, The Sandbox (twice), and had a quick tour of the (partially completed) new Lido course. We also played a 6-hole loop with hickory clubs, participated in a Glow Golf tournament, saw some fireworks and won a few cash skins! Happy Birthday America!

Great news: no more COVID testing requirements to re-enter the U.S.! That means the last three available spots on Tap-In Tours' August trip to Whistler, BC will be snapped up quickly!

This trip for 16 women includes four rounds of jaw-dropping golf in the mountains surrounding Whistler Village (two hours north of Vancouver). There are also opportunities for spa visits, shopping, hiking, helicopter rides, and/or float plane excursions if any of that "floats your boat."

Tap-In Tours visited Pinehurst again this year! This time with 26 women from 12 different golf clubs in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Hopefully this is the start of an annual tradition for Women's Twin City League! We played The Cradle, Thistle Dhu, and courses #1, #2, #4 and #8. Some other highlights included: a private banquet dinner at The Pine Crest Inn, toasting three birthdays and celebrating Mother's Day during the trip, the fabulous Carolina Hotel breakfast buffet each morning, shopping in the Village, and lots of nightcaps around town.

FAIRWAYS AND FIREWORKS!

Tap-In Tours is going to Sand Valley on the 4th of July in 2022. Note: even if you've already been, consider re-visiting this amazing destination if your visit was over 2 years ago. Some recently added facilities include: The Sandbox (short course), 15 grass tennis courts, new dining venues (Aldo's Farm & Table and The Food Truck), a large kitchen garden, and several new lodging options. The highlight of this particular itinerary is a chance to play 13 preview holes of their new course: The Lido (not open to the public)! This trip is open to women and/or couples. Twenty-one women descended on Pinehurst, NC where we played five courses in five days (plus The Cradle). We also found time to wander Pinehurst village, do some shopping, eat in a different restaurant each night, and have a nightcap (or three). Everyone survived the heat, and the highlight was two different women scoring holes in one during the trip!

Tap-In Tours is excited to get back in the game! We're looking forward to taking a group of twenty women to the "Cradle of American Golf" - Pinehurst, NC - in late August.

Note: this trip was specifically created as a replacement for our patient Whistler and/or Banff travelers whose trips have been rolled over twice due to Covid. 🙄 😥👎

Tap-In Tours sends a sincere THANK YOU to all of our 2020 travelers. It was disappointing to have to postpone all of this year's fabulous trips (due to the COVID-19 pandemic), but we're thrilled to report that every single person elected to roll his/her deposit over to the rescheduled 2021 versions of the same trip(s).
