Golden hour in the Costa Rican cloud forest ✨
Cloud forests are found in only 1% of our global woodlands. They’re made up of fog or low-hanging clouds that hover around the highest canopy of the forest 🌿
Then, condensation forms onto the tree leaves before dripping onto the plants below. It’s a moist climate that creates a unique world of lush greenery, wildlife, and wonder ✨
On the cusp of the Monteverde cloud forest, after exploring a nearby cafe within, this incredible sunset presented itself 😍

Chasing pavement 🚐💨
Sometimes during a trip, travel days can be a long stretch of us just doing our best to get to our destination. The gauntlet can be utterly exhausting, no matter how seasoned a traveler is.
A couple of fun tips that I’ve collected overtime?
✨Snacks! One of the best parts of any road trip, snacks (or lack there of!) can make or break a travel day. Grab something salty, something sweet, some fruit, and plenty of water to be ready for the journey
✨Schedule breaks. It might seem tempting to “drive through,” but your mind and body need rest. Map out your rest areas, tiendas, etc. And take joy in living the adventure.
✨ Know your route - even if you’re sitting in the passenger seat. For those who get motion sickness sit up front, take Dramamine as needed, and do you research. Sometimes knowing what to expect can curb your anxiety, which makes for a better experience.
We also try to limit our travel time to 3-4 hours max per day, with only two or three travel days within a trip, but to each their own 🐒 Soundtracks should also be kept at the ready in case the vibe calls for tunes 🎶
Most importantly, embrace patience and know there will be hiccups and hurdles along the way.

My favorite moment of any trip is seeing the connection made between people and place; the experience that softens a glance and begins the true journey.
Transitioning beyond what’s laid out in an itinerary, the best part is observing what pulls guest in and draws them nearer to the world they’re immersed in. It’s my favorite part of coordinating purposeful travel experiences for others.
