Hello Wanderful Wanderers, we're back!

It's been such a blessing to take a step back and regroup. Building a startup is an incredible adventure that never ceases to call you to grow and learn. During our time away, we were able to get clear on where we want to go, how we want to grow and what is important to us right now.

Don't worry we didn't forget about you, our Wanderful Wanderers. In fact, we spent a lot of time thinking about you and how we can really help you Reimagine Travel in Africa, even if you are a local! Check out our new pre-travel services and experiences on our newly updated website. There is still much to do, much to see but trust us when we say we have more in store for you.

It has truly been incredible to see our vision coming to life and recently we got the opportunity to share it with the world. A special thank you goes out to for featuring us in The Technology Issue Autumn '22, what an honour. We are very much grateful to the team for their amazing work. As for you , the incredibly talented journalist who effortlessly captured the soul of WanderfullySo, there truly are not enough words to express how grateful we are for everything. Thank you for helping us find our voice and for beautifully sharing our vision. This article has inspired us to reach even higher!

1. Table Mountain is one of the most photographed places in the world. No surprises there!

2. Archbishop Desmond Tutu made an amazing video of Table Mountains to help drum up support during the voting stages of the ‘New7Wonders of Nature’ campaign.

3. At least two people get married on Table Mountain every month.

4. It is over 260 million years old, and is older than the Andes, the Alps, the Rocky Mountains and the Himalayas.

5. Its highest point is Maclear’s Beacon, which is 1085 meters above sea level.

6. Table Mountain is the only terrestrial structure in the world to have a constellation named after it. In 1754, French astronomer Nicolas Louis de Lecaille named the Southern constellation Mensa after the iconic landmark. He originally called it Mons Mensae, which is Latin for “the table mountain”.

Tips for traveling on Xmas day

1. Pack your own food. Not all shops will be open, so don't risk it.
2. Plan extra travel time to airports and train stations.
3. Festive attire is welcome, but not required. Some that are working might be missing time with their families and so why not add a bit of joy to their day!
4. Be nice and you might just score an upgrade. With half-empty aircraft, trains, and hotels, you have plenty of opportunities to upgrade to first class or a better room. All you have to do is ask—and if you've been courteous and polite to the receptionist or gate agent, they might even offer an extra something. Indeed, happy holidays.
