My love for everything Disney started at a very young age. I did not stand a chance, as my father’s love for Disney started on his first trip to Walt Disney World in 1965. I am fortunate to say that I have been in a Disney park at least once, every single year of my life. And my daughter, age 11, can now say the same, she’s actually going on her 14th WDW trip. Disney is our family place, and it is not uncommon for us to travel in groups, ranging from five, to over 20 people. There is nothing I would rather do then spend time in Walt Disney World with my 4 siblings and our 10 (and growing) children...except maybe spend time with them on a Disney Cruise.
While Walt Disney World is my “home” park and the Grand Floridian is my resort of choice, I have stayed in over 75% of the resort hotels on Walt Disney property. I have done Disney on a shoestring budget, for a quick weekend and for a week long stay at the DVC suites on the monorail. Simply put, I’ve had lots of experience and I absolutely love sharing it with others.
I first stepped foot on the Disney Magic in 1998. We sailed again as a family in 2000 on the Magic because we couldn’t get enough of Disney on the high seas. I took my daughter for the first time, again on the Disney Magic in 2015. And while Walt Disney World is my home park, the Disney Cruise Line is my home away from home. We have now completed our Grand Slam, sailing on all four of the Disney ships. Our last cruise was on the Disney Wonder to Alaska with our family group of 24. While the parks offer something for everyone, the cruise offers something for all ages but at a much slower pace.
I have been sharing my Disney knowledge for years with family and friends. And I am excited to take the journey with you!
