Just got back from the most magical Disney World trip! ✨

We stayed at not one, but TWO amazing resorts, explored all 4 parks, made the most of Lightning Lanes, braved Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, splashed at Typhoon Lagoon, and dined at some incredible spots like The Boathouse and ‘Ohana! 🌟

It has been a WEIRD week friends.. 😣

My hometown in Wyoming has been surrounded by a very dangerous, fast moving wild fire.

While we have remained outside of the evacuation zone, all that has stood between us and the inferno are a few dirt roads and lots of dry grass.

As we have been praying for rain in Wyoming, my second favorite state is about to be devastated.

We have been looking forward to a family trip to Florida this coming week, but it has been hard to “get excited” with the stress and anxiety both here and there.

It is extra hard knowing that we have family, friends, and favorite places right in the path of this monstrous storm.

As we pray for rain here, I pray for the safety of those in the path of Milton.

Let’s talk ROPE DROP! ✨

What is “rope drop”? Rope drop is just Disney terminology for being at the parks when they open!

People use different strategies to maximize their rope drop time.

We are a BIG rope drop family! We choose to use our rope drop time to knock out several low wait rides to get our kids ride fix for the morning 😉

Starting off strong with a few rides seems to satisfy them for a while!

Think low wait time rides in Tomorrowland like Tomorrowland Speedway, Astro Orbiter, and Peoplemover.

We aim to ride 3 or 4 rides before the park officially opens!

Another option is to head straight for a big ticket ride that normally has long waits during the day or that you don’t want to purchase a Single Lightning Lane pass for (like Seven Dwarves Mine Train).
