NAIA TERMINAL REASSIGNMENT

NAIA Terminal Reassignments to be gradually implemented over 3 years

The New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) officially took over the management and operation of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Saturday, September 14, and with it, the task of modernizing the 76-year-old gateway.

This includes plans to increase passenger capacity from 43 million to 62 million annually and air traffic movements from 42 to 48 per hour.

Among those changes also will be an eventual reassignment of terminals. NNIC is proposing the following terminal reassignments:

Cancelled Flights Due to Eruption of Mt. Kanlaon

As of June 4, 2024; 3:30AM

Due to the eruption of Mt. Kanlaon in Negros Island on Monday evening, June 3 and the subsequent presence of volcanic ash in the surrounding airspace, Cebu Pacific has made the decision to cancel the following additional flights scheduled for June 4 based on the latest forecast:

5J 453/454: Manila – Iloilo – Manila

5J 248/247: General Santos - Iloilo - General Santos

5J 164/165: Cebu – Iloilo – Cebu

5J 696/695: Cagayan - Iloilo - Cagayan

Affected passengers have been informed via email and provided with the following options through the Manage Booking portal on the Cebu Pacific website https://www.cebupacificair.com/manage-booking:

1. Free Rebooking

Rebook without fare difference for travel up to thirty (30) days from original flight date. The fare difference will apply if the travel period is beyond thirty (30) days from the original flight date.

2. Travel Fund

Store the amount in a virtual CEB wallet and use this to either book a new flight or pay for add-ons (example: baggage allowance, seat selection, etc.)

3. Refund

Full refund of your ticket.

For other flights on June 4 to Bacolod and Iloilo, CEB is also offering flexible options, which include free rebooking and travel fund, to passengers who wish to postpone their flights. They may avail themselves of their preferred option online up to two (2) hours before their scheduled time of departure.

The safety of our passengers and crew is our priority and we are closely monitoring the situation. As this is a developing situation, some flight changes may take place in the coming days. Passengers are advised to check the status of their flights via https://www.cebupacificair.com/flight-status and update their contact details via the Manage Booking portal to receive email notifications on flight reminders and updates.

If your flight is CANCELLED, you may avail of any of the following options:

1. Convert your ticket to Travel Credits equivalent to the unused segment of your ticket. Voucher validity is one year (1) from the date of issuance.

2. Rebook or Reroute your ticket to another flight with available space within 60 days from the original flight in the same booking class or higher within the same cabin class.

3. Refund ticket without penalties, excluding Ticketing Service Charge.
