Bangkok Ghost Tower
Wiregasm of the day: GHOST TOWER is a skyscraper originally designed to be one of the most luxurious apartment complexes with the finest views in Bangkok. It was abandoned when the Thai baht collapsed in Asia's 1977 financial crisis. Construction of the building was never complete and locals say it's haunted. Dead bodies seem to turn up here on a regular basis, and the architect was charged with attempted murder.
Climb it if you dare. This one's not for the light hearted. Pay off the homeless with a bit of a bribe to enter, but tread lightly over the debris. Straight up are 49 flights of stairs with no hand railings, sinister graffiti along the walls and a terrible fall below.
But big rewards go to those who reach the top. Brave soul Matt Cave captures the most stunning views of the city sunset with a 360 panorama stretch of Bangkok's dazzling city lights.
