Thanks to Todd Kolberg for allowing me to observe his Uber L1 course in LA this weekend. I enjoy watching other instructors to see how they present knowledge and skills to eager new students. Always something to learn.

As a bonus, the guy assisting him is someone I have known for a long time, but have not seen for 20 years.

Canyon Guides International is proud to announce the training and certification of 12 new Level 2 canyon guides in Mexico.

In February and March of this year CGI Instructors Rich Carlson and Adolfo Isassi were invited to train and assess a group of canyoneers from a Monterrey canyoning club called Legión Cañonera del Norte. It was obvious from the first day that every member of the group had already been learning and practicing at a level higher than most. It is rare for 100% of a class of candidates to pass and be granted certification, but this group did it.
