ANOTHER UNIQUE CAVE SYSTEM DISCOVERED IN QUANG BINH 😱

After many surveys and discoveries, cave experts have found a new cave system, creating a new adventure tourism product for Quang Binh.

The Hung Thoong cave system is located deep in the Phong Nha - Ke Bang national park area with many unique caves such as Tron cave, Hung cave, mountain lake, Thung cave, and Nightmare cliffs. The cave system is very unique and special.

These caves are located around Hung Thoong - a clean and beautiful green stream. More specifically, the mountain lake was formed right in a cave in the middle of a peak with clear blue water all year round.

What to do with 2-3 days in Hanoi

Hanoi is a very busy, hectic city. It's a great place to use as a base for exploring nearby areas such as Ninh Binh or Halong Bay, but I wouldn't suggest spending much longer than 2-3 days in the city itself. Here are some itinerary suggestions to keep you occupied during that time.

1. Explore the Old Quarter. It's a fascinating place to get lost in, and you'll find some great food if you get hungry

2. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. If you want to get in, you'll have to get there early (it opens at 7.30am) but it's worth a visit even if you can't get inside as the grounds and temples are worth seeing

3. If you like history, the Hoa Loa prison is a must see. There's an optional audio guide (for an additional fee) if you want more detailed information about the place.

4. Go and see the downed B52 bomber, which is still in the same position in the lake as when it was shot down

5. Go and see Ngoc Son Temple on Hoàn Kiếm Lake. The lake itself is very picturesque to walk around, and the temple is interesting with its giant turtles inside

6. Taste the many food specialities that Hanoi has to offer. Our favourite place is Chả Cá Thăng Long (where Cha Ca, a turmeric and dill fried fish dish is the main thing served), but you also can't go wrong with Bun Cha at Ô Bún Chả: đặc sản Hà Nội, barbecue at Nướng Lẩu Hà Linh, or Bahn Xeo at Nha Hang Mr Bay Mien Tay. You can also get some excellent Bahn Mi, our favourites are Banh Mi Nhé, Banhmi LongHoi, and Bánh Mì 25

7. Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda. If you're in the mood, you can also hire a swan boat pedalo on the neighbouring lake
