WHO IS ISLA VACATIONS?
Well the story began with an early 90s booze cruise that hooked my parents, pun intended! After years of family vacations, my parents got ambitious, organizing group trips and fishing tournaments for their friends and coworkers from Iowa. Thus gifting me the love of travel planning at a young age.
When I graduated high school I ditched college plans for the island life, because, let’s face it, a place called the island of women seemed a little more appealing than more homework. However I did return home only to be tricked into adulthood for the next several years.
Fifteen years ago, my parents turned their love affair with Isla into La Vida Dulce Casitas – a quaint hotel in Centro. They escaped the Iowa winters and have been living the island life ever since.
Ten years ago I decided to move back to the island and raise my daughter there. Now I’ve turned my passion for having a good time into a ‘legit’ business.
We are a family owned business. It’s just me and my technology director, Emerson (who’s actually my 11-year-old daughter and she gets paid in robux). When you plan a trip with us you can relax knowing you will always be working directly with us and no one else. We work with you every step of the way before during and after your trip ensuring the best customer experience.
With over 30 years of experience on the island, we know every inch, every hidden spot. We have made every mistake possible so that you don’t have to.
