Geneva was looking gorgeous last night. I'm on a holiday road trip! Had such an amazing dinner last night too... I had to queue for 30 minutes for a seat but it was worth it, the dog didn't even get the last of my fries.
Hitting the road again today to visit the Italian city of fashion

I had to spend the weekend in Barcelona for work this week (amazing!). Some sunshine was enjoyed, some sangria was sipped and some sandy toes were the order of the day.

This photo was taken last night by my neighbour as we watched the fireworks and I love it! Was so nice to see Bellac enjoying this event again and we had a great party with great hosts, company, food and wine.

Super proud to be here this week with my super clever, talented and fun daughter and her partner to celebrate her graduation. It may be 2 years delayed due to the pandemic, so in reality she has been graduated and working for some time, but that just made it more special to take time to reflect and enjoy the day.
Well done to all graduates this week, an amazing achievement in the face of adversity these last two years ❤️ I salute you all!!

My first outdoor dining experience of the year, spring really is just round the corner!
A great stop on the circular walk from the village which was a perfect way to catch up with friends and enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon.

A good walk in Bellac today to enjoy the blue skies.
It was -7C here last night and even this afternoon the icicles were still hanging on!
Amazing the contrast between the cold nights and the warm sunshine during the day and it’s so nice to come back to put cold feet in front of the fire too!

Menhir de Ceinturat the largest standing stone in my area. I visited today on a cold, misty morning and enjoyed a walk.
There are a lot of these stones and structures in this area of France, their meanings are lost but I still think they are fascinating to visit.
I’m starting January with a ‘do less’ list instead of a ‘to do’ list so it’s good to be away from the desk!
Do you know of any standing stones I should visit?

Walking and reflecting today before welcoming in a New Year. I like to take some time at Hogmanay to imprint my intent on the year to come and to think about the progress I want to make this year and how that will benefit me.
I also hope this year i will read one of those books that changes my life (I love finding a book like that!) and to always keep in mind that none of this is meant to make sense so best to smile and embrace it all, however it turns out!
This is Mari’s best reflective face… I’d say 7/10 for that pensive gaze 😂

I’d just like to share some Christmas cheer. My friends young son was opening Christmas cards this morning, she asked him what was on the card he was looking at and he said ‘it’s just Joseph taking a picture of Jesus’ 😆 I’m going to giggle at that all day! Happy Monday all 😃

Our old dog Tess is now deaf and her eyesight isn’t great either! Otherwise she is doing really well for 13 years old. . She stays mostly on the lead now for her safety but when we are far from roads and on a clear path then she does enjoy a good sniff around. .
