This is an extremely amazing deal that I recently found. This would be done directly with the hotel, and I would not make a commission off of this offer. Great news! The passport office is now accepting and processing applications and renewals, with the normal processing time of six to eight weeks for new applications. You can go to https://iafdb.travel.state.gov/ to search for acceptance facilities in your area for new passports, and renewals are done my mail. Call the acceptance facility first to make sure they are taking applications.

This site will allow you to find the nearest location to apply for a passport. It is provided by the Department of State's Bureau of Consular Affairs, Office of Passport Services/Customer Service, which designates many post offices, clerks of court, public libraries and other state, county, township...

Do you love music? Kansas City is well known for their BBQ and their jazz. One of the best jazz lounges is just off the Main Street downtown. It’s tucked in a wall and hard to find. It is two stories and very narrow, but the jazz is amazing. When you first go in it takes awhile to adjust your eyes, because it’s very dark inside. The Lounge is very reminiscent of the Speakeasies of the Prohibition Era (at least in my opinion).

If you want to hear great Kansas City jazz, look for the Green Lady Lounge. You won’t be disappointed.

Another fantastic museum very unique to Kansas City, is the National World War I Museum and Memorial of the United States. Opened to the public as the Liberty Memorial museum in 1926, it was designated in 2004 by the United States Congress as America's official museum dedicated to World War I. Besides the information housed between its walls, it also serves as one of the best locations to see the skyline of the city. They have divided the museum in two half’s. The before America joined and then after. My grandfather was a young man of 16 when he lied to recruiters about his age and went over to fight the Germans with the Bedford Boys. Unfortunately he was captured the first year while there and we heard of the horrible conditions he lived in as a POW. This museum, and the movies 1917 and War Horse, showcase the horrors of what those young chaps had to live through.

When in Kansas City, one must not miss attraction is the Nelson-Atkins Museum. This jewel tucked away in the midwest is a definite museum to put on your to do list. There are many artifacts and paintings to see that usually only grace the walls or displays in Europe’s best museums or in larger cities. Let’s see if you can guess some of the great masters that are on display.

Hi everyone, I just got back from the amazing city of Kansas City, Missouri this past week. Although most of us love to travel outside of the States, there are so many great cities to explore right here in our country. I was lucky and landed the same day that the Super Bowl champs were treated by their loyal fans to a parade. While I didn’t make it to the parade there were many remnants of red and gold confetti on the streets and many statues had jerseys, etc.
