Hello! 📖⌨️ 📖 Work from home anyone? Writers & creatives welcome! The view from our office window includes mesquite, acacia, olive, & piñon trees, and behind the garden is the view of Morongo Valley.
Being up on the ridge here, above the valley, with the sound of birds and lots of space for thinking, gives a certain peace and clarity which is perfect for a healthy space in which to create or work.

Happy Easter everyone 🐇🌼🌵 Some pics from this morning here at the hideaway. Yucca flowers in various stages of bloom. 🌼 And the prickly pear have their own version of Easter pink! We spotted some little rabbits this morning and all is alive in birdsong. 💕🐇💕

Thank you for making our dream a reality. With new Saltillo tile floors, quartz kitchen counter, floating custom wood shelves, modern glass shower door, new lighting, new bathroom fixtures, new ceiling fans, he did an AMAZING job turning this 1963 casita into such a beautiful getaway. ✨🌵✨🌵✨

Crosley vinyl record player and our little library featuring some of our favorite desert chill albums 🧡 Townes Van Zandt 🧡 Lefty Frizzel 🧡 Waylon and classic mid century crooners like 💙 Sinatra 💙 Bing Crosby for getting back to the old Hollywood desert days 🌵🌵🌵 And for those who enjoy birdwatching while looking out our windows, we even have some classical! 🎼

Our home is graced with our beloved trees, native mesquite, piñon, palo verde, acacia, pepper, and yucca. Wander in the dappling shade, sit and enjoy the view from our many windows.
