Today we’re spotlighting Carlitos, our favorite sports bar on the island! 🏈 🏀 ⚽️ ⚾️ 🐎 On any given game day, it is not unusual to see crowds of sports fans gathered around this cool, outdoor sports bar or at the umbrella-shaded tables set up on the sand loudly cheering on their favorite sports team (GO PATS!) Located on the beach pathway between the Playa Linda and Holiday Inn, the friendly staff serves up reasonabally priced buckets of Coronas and Balashi beer and offers a full bar (try the Mojitos) for your favorite libations. The bar serves goood pub grub - wings, thick, cheesy mozzarella sticks, nachos, burgers etc. perfect for game watching. They also have a delicious side of plantains if that’s you’re style. Be sure to get there early and grab a seat and enjoy an afternoon or night of fun with other like-minded sports crazies. And say hello to Jose and Louisa for us 👋

is our absolute go-to each year. They offer three sail options: a Sail, Snorkel and Swing Tour, an Afternoon Snorkel Adventure Tour and a Sunset Sail. We've done all three and love them all so you can't go wrong. The crew is always incredibly friendly and will sail you to three snorkel spots for the morning tour and two on the afternoon sail. Two of the spots are gentle and shallow, whereas the Antilla Shipwreck is deep and a bit more choppy for more experienced swimmers. For those who prefer to see their fish from a boat and their liquid in a cup, you can enjoy the always flowing drinks, especially the bottomless Pirate’s Punch, from the open bar while you sit under the shade or stretch out in the sun. The highlight of the trip each year is always the rope swing where you can swing your way into the clear blue, and you'll likely get to see some acrobatics from the crew (looking at you ). is a small gem with limited seating that always impresses with the food. The ambience is lowkey, chic & islandy and the modest portions are creatively presented and delicious. We recommend reserving a table outside in their courtyard area, which is surrounded by swaying plants and palms. The staff is always very friendly and makes for a great dining experience. Oak is located just a short taxi ride from the high-rise hotels on Palm Beach. Check it out but be sure to have a reservation! 🍤🍹

André the Aloe Man roams the beach a few times per week selling his pure Aruba Aloe for $10 a bottle and it is bottled gold for curing and nursing sunburns and sun poisoning from the hot Aruba sun. André has been walking the beaches for decades, and built his business with hard work, bright colors and a reliable product. Pop this bottle in the fridge in your hotel room and lather on before bed and you'll notice a significant difference when you wake up. You can't miss André, he calls out "Aruba aloe for your sunburn" as he walks the beach in brightly-colored clothes and hats. 🌿🌵🥵

Madame Janette is a very popular and pretty Dutch restaurant that has nightly entertainment and the most delicious pork cordon bleu in the world. It is set outdoors in a large courtyard with tons of lighted trees and they are known for their huge portions, making them a great spot for large groups. End the night by trying the chocolate soufflé - you won't be disappointed. 🇧🇶 🥘
