Old Blue Chair

Nothing compares to the way that I see it when I sit in that Old Blue Chair🎶

If you know me, you know I love me some Kenny Chesney!! Because of that my favorite part of Sandals Negril (silly as it sounds) was all the blue chairs all over the resort!

For a good chunk of the trip, we sat in our old blue chairs, listened to this song (+some other Kenny Chesney), and took in the sunset & the waves. There’s something about being still, taking in creation, & being disconnected from the world and reality. It’s where I feel closest to God and one of my favorite places in the world. I see the world different here, I’m a happier more at peace person here, I’m the best version of Abbie here.

Truer words have never been spoken: nothing compares to the way that I see it when I sit in that old blue chair.

🚨WDW Closure Announcements🚨 •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Disney has finally (and sadly) given us some closing dates regarding Dinoland, USA. The last day of operations for TriceraTop Spin, Fossil Fun Games, and Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures is January 12! TriceraTop Spin will always hold a special place in my heart as our 1st runDisney ride during a race so the fact that its last day operating is the 2025 marathon… I think I know exactly how we’ll say goodbye 💜💚 Other ride news is that the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness will be closing for a wildly long time for refurbishment beginning on January 6 and will not reopen until 2026!!
