Hi friends! I’ve had some folks reach out and ask if we were in Florida since historically we go for our anniversary- we are NOT in Florida. Ironically, due to a Southwest sale, we went two weeks ago and are long back home (just haven’t posted photos). We were at Disney during Helene, but knew we were safe and extended our trip slightly to allow for planes to get where they needed to be and to stay out of the way.

I will NEVER “influence” any of my travelers to go to Disney during a Hurricane. Cast Members are human and have lives, families, homes, and pets to care for as well. However, if you ever do find yourself at Disney during a storm, please know you are safe and the Cast Members on the ride out teams are volunteers who are being compensated well.

Please check in with and keep those who have suffered from Helene and Milton in your thoughts ❤️

Happy Opening Day to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure!!! Many asked me if I’d be there on opening day, and sadly I’m not… because we snuck down last weekend to ride it in previews!!! 💜💚💛 (it was unbearably hot and don’t worry… we’ll take more photos when we’re there next!)

It’s an amazing ride and we rode it three times in a row(and you all know I don’t like water rides 🤣).
