🇯🇵 DAY TRIPS FROM KYOTO, JAPAN 🇯🇵 We decided to stay 8n Kyoto and none in Osaka. It’s 13min between the two on Shinkansen and if you’ve ever packed up and moved with kids, you’ll know that “less is more”! On top of Universal (seperate post), we visited Fushimi Inari, Bamboo Forest, Nara Deer Park, Gion, Osaka & Hiroshima! All so simple with the JR Pass! If Japan with kids is on your bucket list, I’d love to be a part of it!!

🇯🇵 HAKONE, JAPAN 🇯🇵 For this stop I wanted more traditional accommodation and, as we have tattoos, a private onsen. The heat from the natural onsen was crazy! .official didn’t disappoint with the Mt Fuji view either! A river cruise and a walk through Motohakone-ko is a must! Also, a coffee with a foot onsen and a view is always a yes!! I highly recommend breaking up the city stays here!

📍TOKYO, JAPAN 🇯🇵 The first stop of our Japan adventure! Things I’ve learnt here include; there are no bins, anywhere! The trains are no where near as daunting as we think, the food is incredible, the people are so nice, I know the rules for Sumo now Disney is always the happiest place on earth, no matter which one you go to!

🇻🇳 HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM 🇻🇳 This city has something for everyone, from markets to upscale shopping and history to a whole new city! I finally made it to the Chu Chi Tunnels which was incredibly eye opening! Then began the reason for the trip, our annual ETG Conference. 2 full days of industry friends & experts! Listening to Airline GMs and Business Owners was very inspiring! Topped off with winning Agent/Agency of the Year as well as 3n to Uluru thanks to 🗺️ Bring on Fiji 2025!

🇻🇳 PHONG NHA, VIETNAM 🇻🇳 The real Vietnam, absolutely beautiful! Everyone needs to reset at and visit the caves!! I visited Paradise Cave as well Dark Cave (no phones allowed in Dark Cave - it’s a zip line over, then a swim in and then a very narrow walk in the dark to the mud pools), all by motorbike of course!

🇮🇩 UBUD 🇮🇩 I’ve had many day trips here, but I’ve actually not stayed until this trip! 7 nights in a 3 bedroom pool villa was just what we needed!! Ubud ticks all of the Bali boxes; food, scenery, shopping, peacefulness!! There is SO MUCH more to Bali than most get to experience!!

🇮🇩 MT BATUR SUNRISE 🇮🇩 For as long as I know I’ve wanted to do this! I would be lying if I said it wasn’t one of the hardest (physically and mentally) things I’ve ever done! But it was beautiful!! To be above the clouds and watch the sunrise over an island I love so much, this was very special!!!

🇬🇷 ATHENS 🇬🇷 Poor Athens, this morning we packed our bags, dropped our bags at the airport and headed off to explore. But it was 33’c and no shade, we were pooped! A few quick photos, a Greek salad and Moussaka for lunch, a walk through the markets and we bid farewell!
