Thanks to all who took part in to days East Yorkshire Sprint Triathlon . Thanks to Withernsea Harriers and the Jolly Tri club who marshalled the event and truly without your support we would not have been able to put this event on .Here are the provisional results and a few photo's . Withernsea 5 Sunday 7th July
This popular race is back with a sea front start and finish. For those who have done it in the past the route is relatively flat and is ideal for setting a new PB on this Course measured approved course. The Route is the same as previous years and the detail can be found in the Entrants Manual.

Just 11 Days to go to the Final Five mile blast . Yes this is expected to be the last time we run this event . Due to increased cost of Road Closure , Medical cover , Insurance etc the event is no longer viable . Thanks go out to White City Running club who this year make up nearly 20% of the field .

Final Race notes & Entry list will go out to all Entrants in the next few days .

This event now in its 4th year follows a circular route on the leafy lanes in East Yorkshire . This is a fast and flat course on closed roads and has a Run Britain race licence.

This UKA Licence event takes place on closed roads in a loop on small lanes in this lovely part of East Yorkshire . Now in its 4th if you are aiming for a PB this is the course for you flat and fast !.

Just a quick not to say thanks to all who supported todays Double Trouble event . We had a number of no Shows and will move the date to avoid Easter next year . If you have ran this event and want to suggest a time of year to run this event let me know or many be single entry 10k in summer ?.
The Preliminary results have been sent out to all entrants and a link will be posted here TMO along with the 100s of Photo's out and about on the course and at the finish and some nice drone video from Andy Medcalf .
So final thanks to all who ran , all who helped and the land Owners who gave their kind permission .

We only have 6 Early bird tickets left ! . Once these have been sold entries will be paused . We may offer tickets for sale again in May at an extra £5 . If you do find the event sold out drop us an email [email protected] and we will put you on the reserve list.

This event is now going ahead and tickets are on sale now ! . Thanks for all the support to our previous post . East Yorkshire Council have confirmed they have no objections to the event taking place so all systems go.....

We have limited early bird tickets and once sold we will pause entries . These tickets allow you to cancel and receive a full refund if you cancel no later than 4 weeks before the event.

Long time no post so here we go.......

Do you want the East Yorkshire Sprint Triathlon to go ahead this year ????. Then if so we need to know how many of you are thinking of going . We have lost money over the last 2 years but we have had a lot of emails asking if this is going ahead . So before we start all the hard work to comply with regulations please indicate your interest ( This is not a commitment ) just to gauge interest.

So if you fancy a challenge and swimming in crystal clear open water register an interest now and hopefully we can confirm with in days not weeks .

This is a unique format and the only race of its type we are aware of in East Yorkshire where it is the combined time of the pair when the cross the finish line ( and no you are not tied together ! ). The race can only take place with the special permission the land owners and our thanks go out to them with a special thanks to SHCS .

👀👀👀The Double Trouble is back 👀👀
Last year due to a local event been cancelled we where asked to put on a race and we sure did with 4 weeks notice we put this event on and had a 98% attendance rate . Great feed back from all who ran it last year ( Feel free to disagree here if you ran it ! ).

So grab your partner and commit to this 10k race with a difference where it is the combined time of the two of you that dictates your position in the race .

Each finisher will receive a personalised mug with the name of their partner on the mug.

When you register you will be asked to enter your partners name so make sure they are not running with anyone else.

The event is open to 16 years plus

Purchase this as an Xmas gift and forward them the entry ticket ?.

Tickets are limited and will go on sale at £20 per team .

Run this iconic stretch of land, the course is flat but challenging as there is a half mile section where the road has been washed away! . This event sold out last year as we need to limit the numbers in this area of outstanding natural beauty. Medals to all finishers Chip Timing
