Our favourite time of year! Bright skies and warm light. Cold enough to wrap up warm and enjoy the roaring fire in the evenings. Enjoy the highlands when the crowds have gone and when it's at its most beautiful.

When the old oaks fall, we plant new acorns.
Every few years the oak trees on the farm produce an abundance of nuts, it’s time to gather them and plant them out in the garden before planting on in the fields in the spring. New woodlands for 2024!

We’ve been having a lot of fun on the tools, building a Wood Fired Sauna, made entirely from reclaimed materials found @tulach_ard_house. Positioned right on the sea shore, you can jump in for an icy dip followed up but a steamy sauna and maybe a dram or two! Looking forward to it being open and ready for guests from 2023!!
