Low visibility on Superior today brings the passing freighters a little closer to Grand Marais! And, what a perfect photo opportunity! On the left, heading east to Cleveland, is the Clyde S. Vanenkevort. Heading west, to Marquette, is the Herbert C Jackson.

Good Morning, friends... this darn winter is becoming increasingly tough on us... all our reservations for February, except one, have canceled due to warm temps. We understand the trail conditions for our snowmobilers isn't good right now. Soooo.... that's good news for those of you seeking an escape.... we have lowered our price by $100 night for February.
