I know a lot of the US has been back to school for a while already, but in my area, we're just headed back. What do you love about Back to School season? My favorite is Pumpkin Spice coffee - I know that's a controversial topic, and feel free to disagree in the comments! 🤣
This one is pretty basic! Not only does being kind to the person checking you in cost absolutely nothing, but also that person will likely remember that kindness. Then later if you do end up having an issue or need assistance, they'll be more inclined to help you with a smile.
Plus, kindness just feels good!

Churchill is many polar bears' "summer home." They migrate there from July to November waiting for winter to return. If you want to make a journey to see them, September through November is when you'll have the best chances.
National Dog Day is over, but I have to give a shout out to these hard working loves! I was a bit dubious at first about whether or not these dogs enjoyed pulling the sleds and was afraid I would feel guilty, but I'm a believer now! They were so passionate from the moment they saw people and realized what they were going to do! They couldn't wait to pull and run!
It was amazing to see the pack dynamics and the different personalities doing the job they love! I highly recommend the experience!

It'a little weird to be on a cruise ship and not feel the warm tropical Caribbean Breeze, but THE VIEWS are amazing! Worth wearing a flannel for sure!

A super fun thing about cruising in general is that there is always some kind of activity going on, and you have so many opportunities to try things you would never even think about at home. And because you're surrounded by strangers, the embarrassment factor is very low haha! We had a dance lesson: the dance from Thriller by Michael Jackson! So fun!

It's National Dog Day, so I decided I'd like to celebrate one of my favorites! Meet Scarlett! This beauty is a dear friend's beloved pet, and it's always a good day when I get to love her up - she is an enthusiastic people lover! And I especially enjoy giving her some doggie ice cream! It's a strange experience when you are used to the sun having set before 8 and then waiting until sometime after 9 to even see it start to set!
You don't hear too many people talk about their trip to the heel of Italy's boot, but that doesn't mean it isn't worth the trip! Check out Apulia, a captivating gem in southeastern Italy. The picturesque coastal towns, ancient architecture, and the unique trulli buildings with their iconic conical roofs will not disappoint you. And the local cuisine and pristine beaches are another good reason to check out this lesser-known Italian paradise.

What time is it? Oh it's cruisin time! Who's been on an Alaskan cruise? What's your favorite part? I'm so excited to see the glaciers again!
Breathtaking sunsets and risings, humpback whales, playful otters, and soaring eagles are all what you can experience as you cruise Alaska's Inside Passage along rugged coastlines and glaciers. There are many different cruise options for this itinerary, and many potential stops! I'm heading on one myself right now!
It's definitely gross, but if you're looking for something you don't see every day, check out Seattle's Gum Wall. This alleyway in Pike's Place Market started in the 1990s and, well, it's still going strong.
This is a view that never gets old! I'm envious of those living in the Seattle area who get to just drive around an look at this! Mt. Rainier is an icy, active volcano with a National Park that makes for easy visiting, hiking, and wildflower viewing. It's a must do!
One of my favorite places in Seattle is Golden Gardens Park. If you are ever in Seattle, I highly recommend heading there to chill on the beach and watch the incredible sunset! It's a decision you will not regret.
In Utah's Bryce Canyon National Park, towering hoodoos, awe-inspiring canyons, and plenty of trails wind through its unique landscape. If you’re looking for a different style of vacation, this experience amidst nature's masterpieces might be just the answer.

Are you an overpacker? Guilty here 🙋♀️One little trick is to pack what you think you need and then remove half. But how do you know what to remove? Some tips:
1. Remove things you don't always need and can be purchased easily while away if you do need them. For example, if you are going somewhere generally warm in summertime, you probably don't need that sweatshirt, but on the off chance you do, you can probably buy something suitable.
2. Decide what things you can wear multiple times. You may be able to wear the same pair of pants more than once for instance.
3. Pack small travel laundry packs or sheets. If you need to wash out your socks and underwear, you can do that instead of packing more than you need "just in case."
4. Make sure your wardrobe is very mix and match (or a capsule wardrobe). When multiple things match one another, you can create different outfits using the same pieces.

There's even a Phallus museum for those who want to check out something a little different!
The Grand Canyon. I got to see it for ten minutes once, but that's a story for another day! It's breathtaking, and I can't wait to visit again! What National Park have you been to, or want to visit?
