Had a delightful time taking these two young ladies out on a bike tour of Sacramento! Meeting up from the East Coast and the Southwest to view some Sacramento fall goodness :)
And yes that is the largest Valencia orange tree 🍊

Sunday Morning! Great time for a private bike lesson. Been working with this client a few weeks. They went from being a non-rider to a RIDER and a BIKE OWNER (thanks Sacramento Bike Kitchen! She found the perfect ride for only $50!), riding down Broadway, and accessing the Sacramento River Bike trail.

After a series of private bike lessons, this young man rode almost 4 miles to his public library and back home! We practiced navigating, dealing with intersections, riding on the bike path with other bike riders and pedestrians (and dogs and babies!), crossing busy streets safely, and entering/exiting bikeways.

Took these little dudes on a custom bike tour to a Sacramento legend! Included a mini bike-with-confidence session at the beginning to go over street skills and basics.
It's fun to design a safe custom route for young people to help them get to where they actually want to go with friends. Giving them skills to navigate streets safely helps power them and give parents confidence in their safety.

Led a bike tour on behalf of Jibe North Natomas. A beginner-friendly 8 mile route showing off some of the dedicated bike paths. We had a lot of new riders show up and it was great to see people learn to explore their neighborhood and make new bike friends ❤️🚲

Another new rider!

Had an excellent time working with this young man who wanted to learn to ride a bike! It took us two sessions but he never gave up, showed tenacity and determination, and had an all around good attitude - key to learning any new skill.

Excited to have another young person empowered to ride their bike with confidence!

Leading the family ride for Kids Bike Party on behalf of JIBE North Natomas. I think we maybe had over a hundred people? By far the largest and cutest crowd I've ever led by a bike :)

Excited for another round of Project Ride Smart! And always great to see many kids riding their bike to school. Honored to park beside them :)
Project Ride Smart is a 5th grade driver's education program – on bikes. This comprehensive program teaches traffic principles and on-bike handling skills. The 10-hour course culminates with street rides on their local neighborhood streets. Project Ride Smart is taught by certified bike instructors.

What's better? The Sacramento Kings CRUSHING the Warriors in a do-or-die playoff game, OR, the fact that SABA offers FREE bike valet at DOCO?
Luckily today we didn't have to choose because 💜 👑 💜 won and our 🚲🚲 were parked safe and sound! We beat the parking, beat the traffic, and BEAT THE WARRIORS.
