Our Gozo House

Our restored farmhouse with private swimming pool on the beautiful and unspoilt island of Gozo, Malta is available to let to family & friends (and ‘friends-of-friends’) at 'mates rates'. The house, some parts of which date back over 700 years, is built from honey-coloured limestone and was restored to a high standard approx 14 years ago. It sleeps up to 7. Entrance is via the tiled front courtyard off a quiet alleyway. Ground floor: Lovely large sitting room with beams and high ceilings. Double archway leading to another sitting area and well-appointed kitchen with barrelled stone ceiling. There is also a toilet on the ground floor. 3 steps lead down to separate dining area with bi-fold doors to garden terrace with outdoor dining area and gas-fired barbecue overlooking the swimming pool. 4 steps lead down to tiled garden featuring stone walls, private pool, outdoor shower and plenty of garden furniture for lazing on. From the sitting room a stone staircase leads to 1st floor landing off which are 3 bedrooms: 1 x king-size double with ensuite shower room, 1 x twin (or super-king) with ensuite shower room, 1 x twin (+ fold-out bed) with balcony. 1 x family bathroom. Door from landing leads out to 1st floor terrace overlooking garden and the village of Sannat. External stairs lead to roof top laundry room with automatic washing machine and very large roof terrace with lovely views over the whole island and the sea in the distance. There are ceiling fans in all rooms (and air-conditioning in all bedrooms from May 2020) and the windows are shuttered and have fly screens.
