This small town.
My town.
Our town.
We’ve seen better days.
From bountiful commercial fisheries to booming oil and gas, one could say “back in the day” we were a rich Parish.
I would say, we still are.
What Plaquemines lacks in population, we make up for it in character, courage and hospitality. I am grateful I had the opportunity to grow up here, surrounded by family who instilled values such as respect for others, integrity, and accountability.

I for one, am thankful to those who strive everyday to better our community! to
(Some say this is where the road starts, not where it ends🥰)
