PAL cancels flights to/from Saudi Arabia from Dec 21 to 27
Due to the Saudi Arabian government's suspension of all international flights into and out of the Kingdom from December 21 to 27, Philippine Airlines (PAL) is compelled to cancel all Manila - Riyadh - Manila (PR5654/PR5655) and Manila - Dammam - Manila flights (PR5682/PR5683) within the said period.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has announced the flight suspension amid latest global developments on the coronavirus pandemic and the appearance of the new mutated strain of COVID-19 in the UK and other EU countries.
The new KSA international travel restrictions are precautionary measures based on the recommendations of their Ministry of Health.
PAL passengers with cancelled flights to/from Saudi Arabia within the said period (Dec21 to 27) may avail of any of the following options:
1. Rebook on the same cabin class within 30 days from original flight date with rebooking service fees, surcharges, and fare difference waived,
2. Reroute within 30 days from original flight date with rerouting service fees waived; applicable fare difference and taxes will be collected,
3. Convert unused value of the ticket to a travel voucher
4. Refund unused value of ticket including unused ancillaries without penalties
