Food City is almost here!! This will be the closest grocery store to us, located near US 411 & Hwy 64.

Food City Ocoee will open the doors Wednesday morning, October 16, at 8am! The management and crew are excited to welcome the community into the store, and we're sure the community is just as excited to start shopping!!

Come on out and enjoy the in-store bakery & deli, floral department, the meat section with an in-house butcher, in-store pharmacy, as well as craft beers and so much more. There's rapid check-out service with both traditional and self-checkout lanes, curbside pick up, and home delivery.

Local Festivities for the upcoming week!

From Turtletown to Tellico, Old Fort to Decatur, and more in between - there's plenty of places to celebrate this Fourth of July holiday!

Always remember and practice firework safety:
- Never allow young children to handle fireworks
- Older children should use them only under close adult supervision
- Never use fireworks while impaired by drugs or alcohol
- Anyone using fireworks or standing nearby should wear protective eyewear
- Never hold lighted fireworks in your hands
- Never light them indoors
- Only use them away from people, houses, and flammable material
- Never point or throw fireworks at another person
- Only light one device at a time and maintain a safe distance after lighting
- Never ignite devices in a container
- Do not try to re-light or handle malfunctioning fireworks
- Soak both spent and unused fireworks in water for a few hours before discarding
- Keep a bucket of water nearby to fully extinguish fireworks that don't go off or in case of fire
- Never use illegal fireworks

Wednesdays are for Water - Ocoee River

Care to take a guess what is happening in just three more days?? You guessed it - whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River is open for business! Yes, starting Saturday, the big yellow buses will be transporting excited folks to the put-in to raft through Grumpy's and Table Saw, Diamond Splitter, and the infamous Hell's Hole!

It's time to start making those reservations and come enjoy a day taming the rapids. It's a great family event, team bonding, not to mention a terrific date day! Come on and give us a call - get your trip planned today!!
