I had the privilege of taking these two young, Paruima ladies to Uchii and they absolutely loved it. They trekked through jungles, savanna and even rafted back all the way to Paruima Village. Incidentally, many locals have never visited the waterfall because they are too lazy to walk. 😁

A staff at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport was explaining what the kiosk was intended for at airports. Little did she know that the waterfall, Uchii, is located close to our village.

Big things are coming for Paruima.

One of the camps getting a face-lift at Blue Hill. Once finished, you can sling your hammock and comfortably lay in it. Not to mention the mesmerizing panoramic view that you can get a few meters away from the camp.

So glad to see locals eager to make the 'Uchii Meru Expeditions' a better experience.
