I stayed at the Barcelo Lanzarote Royal Level hotel in Costa Teguise … Check out my review ⬇️

This hotel offers an upscale experience and stands out for its modern amenities, high service, and the variety of facilities that cater to both relaxation and active pursuits.
•
Rooms are designed with comfort and style in mind - they are spacious, bright, and contemporary. Many rooms offer ocean views - although unfortunately depending on location, you may be able to see the island’s distillation plant in the distance! The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are impressive, with rainfall showers, and premium toiletries.
•
Dining here is a quality experience, with a range of options to suit different tastes. The hotel’s main Royal Level restaurant offers a buffet with a variety of international dishes, featuring fresh, local ingredients. There are also two further buffet restaurants which form part of the Active hotel. The à la carte restaurants elevate the dining experience, offering a choice of Italian or Japanese - there can be booked once each per 7 night stay. Two Royal Level poolside bars offer light snacks and drinks throughout the day.
Royal Level guests also enjoy access to premium branded drinks.

The hotel features several pool areas. There is a large, beautifully designed main pool surrounded by sun loungers. The Royal Level offers a heated infinity pool area plus a smaller quiet pool - perfect for chilling out. No early morning scramble for sunbeds here - pools areas are closed off until 9:30am and we never had a problem finding beds. Families will appreciate the children’s pool, which is safe and fun for younger guests. Plus for a small extra charge you can swim a few laps of the Olympic size pool.
•
Overall the hotel offers a premium experience at a decent price point - with good dining options and excellent leisure facilities suited to both families and couples. Only negative would be the lack of atmosphere in the evening unless you wanted to endure the loud kids entertainment!

L a s • V e g a s 💫 - what to pack!!!
•
I really struggled with what to pack for my recent trip to Las Vegas! I am a serial over-packer and although I had a big luggage allowance, I really didn’t want to take too much.
•
It has taken me a long time to learn that the secret to good packing is to plan all your outfits before you go and try to stick to a colour palette - this way you can mix and match lots of items to create different options and you don’t need to take too many different shoes and accessories to coordinate.
•
Las Vegas is one crazy town and you really do see all sorts of people there! I think you automatically think glitz and glamour but to be honest most people dress pretty casually on the whole.
•
And there is a LOT of walking!!! So make sure you pack comfy shoes. Definitely include a pair of trainers (and a hat!) if you plan on visiting the Grand Canyon or Red Rock.
•
Daytime outfits should be cool and comfortable - shorts and vests or tees.
•
I’d say take one or two smarter outfits for the evening if you plan on going to nicer restaurants or bars and then a couple of less dressy options. A pair of chunky or flatform sandals are better than heels. Throw in a linen blazer for cooler nights.
•
Finish off with swimwear for those pool days and some comfy travel clothes for the long haul flight.

B e s t • H o t e l • i n • L a s • V e g a s ? 💫
•
Just back from a stay at The Wynn Las Vegas ….. first time back there in 18 years and it was just as beautiful as I remember! We stayed in a Wynn Resort room with two queen beds. The rooms are huge at 640 square foot with floor-to-ceiling windows offering valley views across the golf course. The rooms feature luxurious bespoke furnishings, ample storage, gorgeous bathroom and Alexa-controlled lights. My only gripe about the room was the $14 charge for a bottle of water - you would expect complimentary water in a 5* hotel!
•
The rest of hotel is just as impressive. The pool areas are stylish and peaceful with cabanas available to hire. There is also a more lively section of the pool if that’s what you are looking for.
•
There are so many bars, restaurants and public areas - all with a pure luxury feel. The casino is busy but has a bit of a staid atmosphere in comparison to some of the other hotels.
•
Location-wise, The Wynn is quite a long walk from lots of the Strip’s other hotels/casinos but has plenty of amenities close by - and lots of high-end shops onsite.
•
